Ed Schilling, Bruiser Flint And Tom Ostrum. Do any of these guys have future head coach ahead of them? Terrible staff. Terrible

I'll play - and try to get this thread back on track. What exactly is it these guys bring to the table?

I know Schilling is supposed to be a fundamentals and workout guru along with supposedly deep Indiana HS roots. Did we see any evidence of his expertise this season?

Bruiser was supposed be a strong East Coast recruiter, I think. Does he have a specialty as a coach?

Ostrum? Besides being Archie's buddy, what else does he do?

I doubt any changes will happen, but I'd like to see somebody who's known as an offensive guru brought on board. And maybe a big man coach? Hard to see any of these guys being able to really coach big men when all are 6' 0" or less.

They suck. Don't you want guys that someday might become head coaches.

I do not know what their "specialty" is but if you are Archie you have to look at everything including your assistant coaches. Nobody on this staff should be feeling very good about things today.

How about some Hoosier connections??? I know it's a cliche but could it hurt.
How about you stop acting like you know what they do or don't do for this program? I also say just because an assistant coach misses on one player from Indiana doesn't mean he can't recruit the state of Indiana. I thinks it's funny how you want to post negative crap on here about Archie, the players and now the assistant coaches. Every post you make is the same bs and I have just realized how stupid I am for reading them. Maybe getting hit in the head yesterday finally made it clear to me so from now on anything you post will not be read by me.

Wasn’t Groce rumored to be an assistant prior to taking the Akron job.

I didn’t care for him at Illannoy, but I think he’d be an upgrade. Just not sure if he’d walk away from a HC job at the moment.

Former IU player Michael Lewis may soon be available if Miles gets canned by the Huskers.
