Archie should not bank this scholly

I'm not paranoid at all. Birnk has been here under many names (most recently PranksterMary), posted exactly as he does now, and was banned each time. That's a fact. I'm not accusing you of flipping names. I wasn't even talking to you, F'face. I'm only a dick in response to dicks. Don't be a dick.
Thats not true...

If he can't shoot from 3, we don't need him.

We have enough of these guys already.

This kid plays offense and defense. I don’t think we should rule him out so quick. Arkansas, BYU, Depaul, Marquette, and Oregon are some of the schools that have already reached out to him.

He also averaged 2.5 turnovers a game.

I've never seen him play, but going off his stats, he's never shot over 30% both years in college, so he can't shoot from distance. We need shooters.

He also likely overlaps with Lander, and would overlap with kids like Muhammad and Longino... I’d say no for sure on him.

Love all the updates though.

We haven't reached out according to reports.

Freeman-Liberty plays like a young version of Oladipo with a better shooting touch. Vic got better by Junior season. Might be a good get but big is gonna be needed bad.

We haven't reached out according to reports.

An acquaintance of mine is fairly plugged into the Virginia AAU scene. He said McLung has kind of made a name for himself for not being a great teammate...after the YouTube stuff took off especially. He said his talent is undeniable, but he isn’t a guy that elevates his team, really in anyway.

3rd hand knowledge. And I will preface it by saying the guy I know would be turned off my all the YouTube following. But he does know basketball and basketball talent.

If Archie didn't know that Devonte would continue play erratically then he's completely clueless. That's who Devonte is and we all knew it.
Exactly what I was going to say. The RP injury was slightly predictable (maybe). Green's crazy up and downs were as obvious as could be.

This Anei kid is certainly worth looking at. He did have some troubles with turnovers and fouls, and disappeared a bit in big games, but he averaged ~2.3 blocks per game in only ~22 minutes per game in two years at OSU. Compare that to Brunk's 0.3 blocks per game and you can see the upgrade he would bring to the defense. It would probably be the end of Brunk's career as a Hoosier, at least as a starter, but it would be a vast improvement. Can you imagine TJD and Yor Anei protecting the paint, with Race Thompson coming off the bench?

Next year would be Brunks last year. This kid would have to sit a year unless the NCAA approves this one time transfer thing.

Truth is we need brunk to play less than 10 mins a game to be elite. Hell maybe less than 5. Good heart, great teammate, too slow for elite college b-ball.

Brunk is a valuable player to come in bang with some of the bigger centers that the Big Ten is known for like Xavier Tillman and Kaleb Wesson, Jon Teske, Kofi Cockburn, and Isaac Haas. With most of those players moving on from the college game, I'm not sure how useful he will be, but it's still nice to have someone who can come in in case of foul trouble like Davis did last year. But I agree with you and I hope Race is ready to take all of De'Ron's minutes and some of Brunk's as well.

I think race will take some of smiths minutes too. Along with Hunter. Especially if race has developed a decent shot. We really need a stretch 4.

Yor Anei is missing two fingers and still shot over 70% on free throws. We need him so there's no more excuses for Brunk shooting 44% from the line.

There are still players left in the 2020 class. I don’t know if these guys were ever on our list, but we can cross them off now.

Alex Tchikou (espn ranked #56) the 6-foot-11, 210-pound center is reclassifying to the Class of 2020 and committed to Alabama on Sunday.

Texas Tech has signed 7-foot-1 Russian center Vladislav Goldin.
Coach Chris Beard announced Goldin's signing Thursday. Goldin is from Nalchik, Russia.

“Indiana should absolutely take a run at Anei and pitch playing next to Jackson-Davis. His defensive capability would be huge for the Hoosiers in the rough Big Ten.”

I think we could still use a 1 or 2 year big man. Not gonna have a lot of PF/C depth this season and a VERY young frontcourt behind Race in '21 assuming TJD moves on. Just seems like Archie is content with the team at this point though unless he has a plan that hasn't unraveled yet. The guys are already on campus so it's coming down to the wire.

Even if the stars align for the '21 recruiting class we would still be in a similar position as this season if we land for instance, Kaufman, Miller, along with Duncomb to go with Race while losing TJD and Brunk. Think Archie may wait until '21 to bring in a transfer center with the 5th scholly? (if TJD leaves). Guess it may all depend on if he thinks Duncomb is B1G ready at the 5 his freshman year.
