Odds are he'll get invited to the Peyton Manning Passing Academy... 
It is clear he didn't look at the QB situation there with Ewers already at Texas. So many of these players think they are superior to all others. I would say NIL money had something to do with the decision.
Also, what program wouldn't open the coffers for this kid? I'm guessing the money would be pretty comparable at each when you're talking about programs with this level of clout and alumni engagement.
The plan is for Ewers to start this year with Manning as backup Then Ewers will declare for the NFL and Manning will take over in 2023

Wherever Arch signed, he was going to cash in on NIL, so signing with Texas because of NIL isn't some big surprise.
Whether he signed with Bama or Georgia or whoever, he was going to cash in. The big time south schools are all in on NIL.

It is a fine line and makes all the difference in how players handle competition and losing out the starting spot. If they are confident, they work hard to improve and show they are the best. Cocky, pouts and thinks they were cheated out of the spot.
Would be nice to see IU go after a top 10 ranked qb every once in awhile. We have had a decent run since Randel El at qb for the most part, but im not to thrilled going into this season! Not sure if we have a difference maker this year at this position!
