love it on all fronts.Damn capitalists are starting to interfere with the incompetence too:
From the Wall Street Journal (pre-firewall kick in):
Executives from an industrial conglomerate, a health system and a professional sports ownership group met up this month in their Charlotte, N.C., neighborhood to walk and vent. The national rollout of Covid-19 vaccine doses, they agreed, wasn’t going fast enough.
By the end of the stroll, they had sketched the outline of a plan to speed things up: Combine the logistics technology of Honeywell International Inc., the expertise of health system Atrium Health, and the real estate of Tepper Sports & Entertainment to inoculate thousands more people a day than the average North Carolina vaccination site currently does.
“It’s the last mile,” Honeywell Chief Executive Darius Adamczyk said of the problems that have plagued the vaccine rollout. Mr. Adamczyk is part of the North Carolina trio, along with Atrium CEO Eugene Woods and Tepper President Tom Glick. “We dramatically need to pick up the pace.”
The North Carolina executives aren’t the only business leaders stepping in to offer private-sector expertise to help more Americans get Covid-19 shots.
Washington state this week said that private companies will lend expertise to accelerate its vaccine rollout, among them Starbucks Corp. , which will provide help with vaccine-administration facility layout and has started working on ways to reduce patient wait times....
Here in The Ville, we have "drive through" - Broadbent Arena hasn't seen this much exhaust fumes since the Monster Truck Show!
The teachers at my bride's school are all piling on a school bus to go get their shots toegther! Turns out social distancing isn't all that important after all.
Meanwhile, my 5 "high risk" factors have me in line with the guys on death row.
And get this - if you are immunocompromised from a solid organ transplant, you get in early, but if you are immunocompromised from other stuff, back of the bus.
Only a government meeting with muffins and a gavel can mess this stuff up.
"Thanks, Obama." Hillz i've been in a horrible mood all day and that literally caused me to spit out my iced tea. thank you for the laugh my friend. what did obama do? lolMy mom is high risk because of cancer, but her doc said no vaccine because of cancer. My friend's grandpa just passed alone in a hospital bed because Covid restrictions kept family out of the hospital. I hope when mom's time comes, it won't be alone in a hospital bed. This whole thing is a giant cluster f*ck. Thanks, Obama.
I haven't got that part sorted yet."Thanks, Obama." Hillz i've been in a horrible mood all day and that literally caused me to spit out my iced tea. thank you for the laugh my friend. what did obama do? lol

Shouldn't that question be "Who is wealthy these days?"Is a capitalist someone who believes in capitalism (private ownership) or a wealthy person with lots of valuable assets ?
What is wealthy these days ?
Shouldn't that question be "Who is wealthy these days?"
You have far more than a modicum of brain power, Hoot. I love reading your posts. At my age, and everyone should want to reach it or more, being healthy and having a modicum of brain power is being wealthy.
That’s dumb. You need to be able to answer question a before b....Shouldn't that question be "Who is wealthy these days?"
Fauci Refutes Biden Admin Claim that Trump Left ‘No Plan’ for Vaccine Distribution
Dr. Anthony Fauci, head of the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases, refuted a claim by the Biden administration that the outgoing Trump administration left no plan for distributing coronavirus vaccines. President Biden said at a White House press conference on Thursday that...news.yahoo.com
Was there a Trump plan for vaccine distribution or not? Enquiring minds want to know and all that . . . .
Yes. I miss Donald Trump's genius and skills as an orator.Biden is a walking talking joke...
Just watch a couple of his "photo op only" press conferences where he stumbles through reading a TelePrompter like he's just coming off a three day drunk and you'll see what I mean...
His speech writers evidently think that putting both he and his audience asleep by "baffling them with bullshit" is a solid strategy for the Leader of the Free World... 🙄🙈😖🙉

Here's a thought that Trumpers are starting to ponder . . .Hard to tell
According to Gov. Andy’s website, Kentucky received 332,200 doses, and has either administered 250,867 or 209,079.
Same website says 20% of reported “cases” are “probably” Covid.
Not sure who to praise or blame.
Here's a thought that Trumpers are starting to ponder . . .
Ain't it hard when you discovered that
He really wasn't where it's at
After he took from you everything he could steal
Awwhhhh, how does it feel?
About 60 years late to the party . . . .

Your assumptions are monkey level reasoning at best.I remember when Bob Dylan still owned that song!
(I assume TMP disowned him and Neil as sell-out capitalists for actually making money with their music.)
early 2000s i was taking a walk at lunch down the intracoastal in west palm as they were setting up for sunfest. i turned a corner and popped out in front of a little stage and bob dylan was sitting on the edge of it alone. i was all of five feet away from him. to this day the most stunned i'd ever been in my life. only a few people would do that to me. ali. a few others. i nodded and kept going. i still regret not taking a moment to try and talk to him. i'm sure he appreciated the peace, but....Here's a thought that Trumpers are starting to ponder . . .

When I was 19 I was living in So. Cal. One fateful afternoon, I pulled into an AmPm on my way to work to get gas. I went in and paid and went back out to pump. Just as I was hanging the hose back up, a late model Mercedes-Benz, limo-tint windows, pulls in to the lane next to me. I can remember the personalized plate like it was yesterday: "LAUGH N"early 2000s i was taking a walk at lunch down the intracoastal in west palm as they were setting up for sunfest. i turned a corner and popped out in front of a little stage and bob dylan was sitting on the edge of it alone. i was all of five feet away from him. to this day the most stunned i'd ever been in my life. only a few people would do that to me. ali. a few others. i nodded and kept going. i still regret not taking a moment to try and talk to him. i'm sure he appreciated the peace, but....

Oddly, that's the only time I found him not to be cringe-worthy. When he was off script, he was 'nuckin futs'Compared to what I've seen from Ol' Joe so far DT may end up matching your description in comparison... ((and for the record I thought he was cringe worthy when reading scripted speeches))...

LOL... He was his own worst enemy particularly when he went off script in Official settings , can't argue that... What I was referring to (and didn't explain) was when he went full on extemporaneous at his Rallies he spoke really well... In nearly every other setting he was tough to watch..., with that I can't disagree...
In my opinion, from what little I've seen so far, Ole' Joe may well take "cringe worthy" to a whole new level... His speech writer (s) appear to hate him... Knowing full well he mangles every fifth word, they give him a product that makes absolutely certain he'll fail... 🙄🙉
His ability to riff, while no one would ever mistake it for high minded discourse, did captivate and shock people.Agree, Trump was at his best when leading a rally.
Speech instructors tell us to know our audience and deliver the speech accordingly. Trump, either by accident or on purpose. attracted an audience which interacted with him perfectly. He spoke their language and gave them the lines they wanted to hear. They responded in such a way as to further fire him up.
Trump loved those crowds, and they loved him.

It’s so rare to see a POTUS just go up there with a mic and give a steam of consciousness for an hour straight. In some ways I think it made him the most transparent President ever, you never really wondered what he was thinking.
It was something we hadn’t really seen from presidents before and a lot of Americans loved it. The guy also has some pretty good comedic timing. “Because you’d be in jail” and “only Rosie O”donnell” are objectively funny regardless of your political affiliation.
