Pretty cryptic but it would be hard to fault someone for interpreting him as strongly suggesting that Spurrier is under consideration for OC.

Hard to imagine Spurrier coming back as an OC...
Maybe he's just looking ahead to next year and sees the possibilities...
The Ol Ballcoach is going to be part of the 75th anniversary celebration. Zach must be a fan also. He must have liked watching Spurrier and the Gators wear out Tennessee during his time at UF.
What in the world does his age have to do with his potential as an OC?
Was he not known for his offensive mind when at UF?
Now if you said that at his age he won't relate to 18 year old kids as a recruiter then I could understand that concern but strictly in regards to his football mind, I can't see what his age has to do with it.
I do. Heisman winner, college HOFer, national title and multiple conference titles (including at Duke), 11 bowl game victories...who wouldn’t want this guy on our sideline?
Spurrier has a pretty imaginative son in the coaching ranks.
Well, I think it is pretty silly to think that. No way SS is interested in an OC job at Indiana. Come on guys.
Maybe that is it but do not see SS as an assistant to anyone. Not his style from the interviews I have seen and heard.

I agree. How silly. Part of his contract at SC was permanent membership at Augusta. He is not going to do something that hurts his golf game.
You may be onto something JJ. Spurrier Jr led the nations leading offense last season at WS.
it's a bit of a stretch to say SSJr led WSU's offense--he was a position coach and in truth Leach is always his own OC.
Spurrier Jr definitely DID lead a successful offense at WKU. It also doesn't hurt that he's got both "recruiting specialist" experience at OU for Lincoln Riley and NFL coaching experience.
wonder if he's not as into warm-weather golf as his dad is...last time I looked there weren't all that many world-class golf courses in the Palouse either.
