NOPE.. All it does is power the magneto's. Dual mags for redundancy, create their own power since external power supply failure is........bad. We are talking a 1930 tractor level of ignition... NOW ya just gotta fly the damn plane.

I'm sure I could get one off the ground (talking about an old Cessna or similar), and I'm sure I could eventually get it on the ground. Not gonna guarantee it wouldn't be ugly.

See this is where I can guarantee, you DO have the skill to get it on the ground.

Honestly though, I've zero doubt that you couldn't become a pretty damn fine pilot. Even walking away from all but one landing. And I'd expect that last one to be VERY far in the future.
