I saw so many holds today on Michigan it was ridiculous. I just kept running it back showing my wife it was a horrible job by the referees. Not that Indiana wasn't making enough mistakes, because they were.
That obvous hold by the QB right in front of the official may have stopped us from getting on their fumble when he dropped it.

Celebrating 10 - 0 and IU making football program history. IU played its worst game of the season and still pulled out the W. It did not help that the officiating was piss poor; particularly allowing blatant holding throughout the game. Still, IU found a way. Celebrate for a day, get some rest, then scheme to create The Darkest Day part 2 at The Shoe !!!
I lost track of how many time I saw UM players holding on to the back collar of our guys as our guys got around them. Multiple sacks were prevented by these blatant holds.
Same thing with their DBs.

That is just an awful officiating crew, it’s the same bunch that did our UCLA game in the Rose Bowl. If you remember there were 2 ridiculous roughing the passer calls, 2 targeting calls ( one reversed by the league the following week) and the lack of a targeting call against UCLA when their player launched into the side of Aiden Fishers head with the crown of his helmet on an interception return. They are just bad
The big brands enjoy a protection that the smaller brands simply don't receive. It would actually seem like the officiating crew should've been in protection mode for Indiana's undefeated season to roll on into Columbus; of course that wasn't the case.
Cignetti was not happy with the officiating. It's very difficult to win against 4 and 5* talent when they can horse collar people and get a pass!!
