I figured we be down 20 at the half. Nothing to like about losing but I thought it would be a damn sight uglier than it was (though it was kind of ugly at the end)Depends what you're looking for.
Results the same..imo.Last year's team checks out before the end of the first half and loses by 20-30. This year they fight the whole game and are in a position to win in the final minute. More or less the same team, the difference is the coaching.
Indiana was 10 -1 at one time.Results the same..imo.
I thought we would lose by 30 so a moral victory which really is what iu is now moral victories. But showing no ability to win close games makes it seem almost impossible to win two straight in the BTTDepends what you're looking for.
While true thats great for moral victories but at the end of the day its a loss and we are in the NIT.Last year's team checks out before the end of the first half and loses by 20-30. We're 9-11.Indiana was 10 -1 at one time.
Conference collapse..8 wins.
IU had a chance to win at the end, and that is about all you can ask. If you would have told me IU would be down 2 with a chance to win at the end and Kopp had outscored Ivey, I don't know if I would have believed it.Depends what you're looking for.
You damn right!Last year's team checks out before the end of the first half and loses by 20-30. This year they fight the whole game and are in a position to win in the final minute. More or less the same team, the difference is the coaching.
Then why watch the game, just check the score on espn? Results the same..imo.
...ain't it the truth...Thanks everyone for proving my point.
More or less same team? 3 new starters.Last year's team checks out before the end of the first half and loses by 20-30. This year they fight the whole game and are in a position to win in the final minute. More or less the same team, the difference is the coaching.
The one thing that Woodson had done with this team is instilled more pride and fight in them. That is showing itself mostly defensively right now and we are so much better defensively now than we were last year. I am incredibly happy about that. Watching the last 10 or so games last year was miserable. It was pretty much Race, Durham and Galloway fighting hard every game while the rest rolled over.Depends what you're looking for.
Those are some damn strong rose colored glasses for a team full of upperclassmen that has won 2 games in the last monthThe one thing that Woodson had done with this team is instilled more pride and fight in them. We have a long way to go as a team and program still but there is quite a bit to be happy about if you are inclined to be happy.
Upperclassmen playing in a new system, new coach, with new teammates. 3 of the 5 starters were new. The reason a team of upperclassmen is usually good is because they’ve all played several years together with the same system and coaches. Those are some damn strong rose colored glasses for a team full of upperclassmen that has won 2 games in the last month
I have seen a lot of basketball in my time. I see what I see. You are free to do the same my man. Those are some damn strong rose colored glasses for a team full of upperclassmen that has won 2 games in the last month
Fair points, but it would be reasonable to expect to see progress within the season. The inability to make progress in eliminating stupid play or learning to close games with experienced players numbs the mind.Upperclassmen playing in a new system, new coach, with new teammates. 3 of the 5 starters were new. Didn't we see a substantial decrease in turnovers throughout the year?Fair points, but it would be reasonable to expect to see progress within the season. The inability to make progress in eliminating stupid play or learning to close games with experienced players numbs the mind.
