After the embarrassing display of basketball this week

IU football needs to take the reins and officially make us a football school. Man, is our basketball team bad. You can’t get more opposite than Woodson and Cignetti. One has a team of 4-5 stars and will accomplish nothing, including no NCAA tournament bid, and the other has a group of mostly 1 & 2 star guys and will make the CFP.

While I LOVE that number, it also makes me uneasy. This is it for them and traditionally they have played above their pay grade in this game. I agree with Jssanto, IU needs AT LEAST a 3 touchdown victory. If we don't blow them out, the CFP bid could become tenuous.

Not enough money coming in on the PUke side of the ledger so they have to keep moving the line.

Since attending my first Bucket game in 1983 as a Sophomore, I've often felt Purdue players played with more energy, more emotion and in general are more amped up for the game than the Hoosiers.

That may be the case, again, this year. But I also have a sneaking suspicion if IU strikes fast and hard, the Boilers may just give up and want to get out of this season as quickly as possible.
