I'm happy with any win, but not satisfied because we could play better, IMO.
16/17 turnovers, that's sloppy and a potential loss of points.
KS was, what, 17/32 on threes? How many does a team have to make before our players start guarding their shooters?
We were up 13, then down 4, and won going away, but we gave up 87 points. Not satisfied with our defense, and I'm sure Woody isn't either.
IMHO, teams should shoot 80-85% on free throws. OK, maybe unrealistic, but damn, if you can't hit a straight-on fifteen footer, flat-footed, with no one in your face, maybe you shouldn't be on the court. They're free for a reason as I'm sure somebody before me has said.
Been a fan of IU since "75. Miss the skills, discipline and talent of the Knight era. Nuff said.
