I'm not big on "moral victories", and don't consider this Louisville loss to be one. But there were certainly things to like in this game. Quarterback Jackson played statistically even against a much more experienced quarterback. Most importantly, the team really hung together in the second half, coming back almost all the way with a daring onside kick, two long drives, and a stout defense. I'll never understand why IU teams can't be more creative in crucial goal-to-go plays, but that doesn't take away from the heart IU showed in winning the second half after being way outplayed in the first. Go Hoosiers!
