'Tis two weeks before Christmas and it's great to exclaim
The Hoosiers will play their first CFP game!

In December, most seasons, football's come to an end
But this year our boys have a job in South Bend.

The skeptics abound, some say "Ha, it's IU!"
And my message to them is a heartfelt "F*ck you."

To win more than 10 is, indeed, no small feat
Only once have we failed and gone down in defeat.

We've had reason to cheer, and to feel rather heady
And extol the great wisdom of Coach Curt Cignetti.

But there's work to be done, we must get a big win
To prove we belong, much to ND's chagrin.

May our Hoosiers advance in this tourney, I pray
And, if not, may you still have a nice Christmas Day.

Having lived close to South Bend my entire life, I have never wanted IU to win so much in my life. I already got into it with an ND jerk who laughed at the idea we could come close to his great team. I did come across a column from a writer who thought we had a good chance to win.

10-15 years ago, I commuted by train. Returning home at night, and to avoid falling asleep and missing my stop, I’d sometimes write stupid stuff (usually with humor) to send to a family member or friend. Now the Football Hoosiers are inspiring me.

Went out for a taco,
Late one October Night,
There at The Border,
They messed up his order
And then he got into a fight.

My friend Jeffrey,
He always told me,
"These Fast Food places really sucked",
He said, "I want to warn you",
"If you go through the Drive-Thru,
You know you're gonna get F***ed".

Truer words were never spoken about the Drive-Thru. LOL.

Live cheap like we do and you can afford the food if you like. My wife and I buy used cars we like and hang on to them. We bought a nice small house we paid off several years ago. It is great no car payments or house payments. We enjoy life the best we can and don't envy anyone.

IUFB is my outside passion, I live it the best way I know.
