Saw coach Hep who would have done it too, had he lived. Now we got the real deal. My shoulder is pretty scrawny now but I got a great big chip on it now, but it will send vibes with thousands of other IU fans, who in the toughest moments Saturday will help us prevail, as in win

I got to enjoy Okinawa too in the 1976 for three weeks attending staff school. I hope to have my life love for as long as you had yours as we are now together for 40 years. Now we both get to see IU getting a coach that can move IUFB into the top of B1G.

As Kurt said, you’ve seen a lot of bad football over the years, but I’m curious about a couple of special seasons and one in particular. You go back to the Bo McMillin era and I’m wondering if, as a kid, you were living in or near Bloomington and had a chance to see any games at the old Tenth Street stadium during the undefeated 1945 season. Even if you didn’t attend games, do you remember anything about that season? Were there live radio broadcasts of the games?

Also, any special Rose Bowl season memories?
