Now listen up chumps, this damn bus has limited seating. Your captain, aka mr. Notradumbass, isn’t leaving the door open for much longer. So you fair weather teenage girls gotta make up your mind. Let’s get to Saturday and this bus will be rocking all the way to the tourney.

ALLLLL Aboard!!!!

Linardi has us as the last team in but with Wyoming and VT winning we might need a win today.

In lieu of which other teams specifically?
Virginia Tech if they win today.

Oklahoma is one to watch after they beat Baylor.

SMU if they win.

VCU/Dayton if either makes a deep run. Actually not sure, one of them may have lost?

Anyway, less confident we’re already in this morning, than I was yesterday.

Have to play well today and have a close game by at a minimum. Get blown out and there are enough other bubble teams still playing, we’d likely be out I feel.

Just curious on this, but if IU lost today wouldn't you think IU at least steals Michigan's spot? I mean IU has a better record and beat them in latest match-up? Isn't it all about, what have you done for me lately?

I personally think there is a solid chance we are already in. Cav is correct though. Right now we don’t know who might steal bids in tournaments.

Hopefully this conversation doesn't matter but I would be willing to bet they're in regardless.

Ok Cav. I’m on board.

you need to take one for the team. Yesterday I gave you Michigan and Smiley’s nice up the dance. Today, it’s back to the same riddim:

Real Rock
Band Sound Dimension
Producer Coxstone Dodd (Studio 1)

here’s a one riddim mix, 22 minutes long featuring a couple of dozen different songs with that riddim (including Armagedeon time, maybe the biggest from that label). They list the tracks, and the DJ that mixed this is very clever (sometimes he has one sound in the right channel and another in the left). Try to follow along with the track listings, and I would suggest headphones. Take one for the team, pack a few and fire this up with your morning.

“sweet up the dance”.

Hoping to get +200 on Money Line today! Yesterday it hit +140 before tip. I never checked, but live betting surely got juicy as hell before the rally started. Go Big Red!!

The win yesterday at a minimum, made Sundays selection show at least entertaining. That may end in heartbreak but its worse turning that on knowing we have no shot.

With that said, I do think we need to win today to get an at-large bid. With that defensive lineup we used yesterday, our team playing on the same rims within 24hours of playing well and playing against a team that has yet to step foot on the court bodes well for us. A win here not only puts us solidly into the tourney but also further galvanizes this team to play for something beyond themselves. Hopefully the guys enjoy the last few games of the season and decide to run it back next year.

11:30 tip, after we just played an 11:30 game on the same court is a supreme advantage.

Aint betting on this game today!!! Bet yesterday for IU to win by 6-10pts at +400…IU wins by 5!😡

And when you get to feel'n really good, I suggest U2's "It's a Beautiful Day". If you've ever personally witnessed those Bedouin fires at night, or even the oil fields at first light, you know what it is I'm taking about.

When I was courting my girlfriend, my current wife to this day, (back there in seminary school, petitioning the lord with
P-R-A-Y-E-R (or so I thought), I concluded an email to her with, "It's a beautiful day", meaning just that...the sun was out, coffee in my cup, whatever. Her response back was simply "U2". At the time I thought she meant, "also". The only U2 song I was aware of was "Sunday, Bloody Sunday" (another classic). Being younger than me, she was more astute to the heavier bass line nuances of the current music scene. I'm still mired in the sounds of the 60's. When I came to my senses, I Googled it and watched U2 on YouTube, "live" from Slane Castle. I often play this song when desiring a jump start to my day and the next thing I know, after the flood all the colors come out and what you don't have, you don't need it now. It's a beautiful day, what else can I say? "Go Hoosiers!"

I hit the ML for +130 yesterday. +200 i don’t think we see, maybe +175!
+185 at Caesars right now. I'll wait till around tip unless it starts dipping.... Good Luck on all of your wagers! I'm only running with IU (as far as that goes) until the NCAA Tournament starts. I had a terrible Conference Tourney record last year and 2019, so I'm taking this week off this year and concentrating on research and the Hoosiers!

I'm glad I never thought to check alternate lines, because I would've taken a run at that +400 myself. I was feeling yesterday that IU was a lock relative to the +140ish value. Obviously it ended in my favor, but the game certainly didn't play out as though IU was cinch... lol. I like IU better today than yesterday, but I made too much yesterday and feel too fortunate to run much of it back.

I do have a portion that I'm letting ride on IU money line through Sunday hopefully! If IU can win it's first BTT, I think I'll cash between 8 and 10k. I might drag a little out on Sunday though. If they make it that far I might lose some of my nerve :)

I bet 50 to win 1400 on IU winning the B1G tourney.

Money must be coming in on Illinois? Line is moving away from IU seems. Don’t ever like to see that.
I don't get it.

Jacob Grandison is listed as a game time decision but not sure he sways the line 3 points like that. My guess is he is playing or there's no way the line moves like that.

If Woody sticks to the 2nd half 10 minute lineup I like our chances. Rob missed the first matchup and he's a prime target to guard Frazier. I love that match up.

Let's look at some numbers: Some teams I saw mentioned
IU Net = 41 Q1/2 = 7-11 Q3/4 = 12-1
Oklahoma Net = 38 Q1/2 = 6-13 Q3/4 = 8-1
Wyoming Net = 44 Q1/2 = 11-5 Q3/4 = 13-2
Wake Forest Net = 45 Q1/2 = 5-7 Q3/4 = 18-2
SMU Net = 48 Q1/2 = 6-5 Q3/4 = 16-2
VCU Net = 51 Q1/2 = 6-7 Q3/4 = 15-1
Dayton Net = 52 Q1/2 = 8-5 Q3/4 = 14-4
Rutgers Net = 77 Q1/2 = 9-9 Q3/4 = 9-3

I think two to worry about are Wyoming at 11 - 5 Quad 1 wins and Oklahoma as their net is higher than IU's.
Also another team to watch is Rutgers. Their net is 77, but with lot's of Quad 1 wins. Do they have to win today? They are playing a hot Iowa team today, so winning may be difficult. Rutgers 3 Q 3/4 losses might really hurt them. I think Wake is out with losing to a below .500 Boston College team in the ACC tourney. Will be very interesting few days. Go Hoosiers!!!!!!

I almost did that, but I thought it might end up closer to 40 or 50 to 1 odds if I just bet money line each day and let it ride. Hopefully, we get to find out which was the better strategy. I usually do a $100 money line then let it ride, but I was feeling froggy yesterday and went $200. If they beat Illinois today, I'll definitely drag the $200 so it's a free shot the rest of the way.

One thing in IU's favor is that the lone Q3/Q4 loss is against a potential (maybe likely) at large team that finished 4th in the BT (Rutgers), which likely won't hurt nearly as much as some of the other bubble team Q3/4 losses

I bet 50 to win 1400 on IU winning the B1G tourney.
Also, my on-site guy who's making my bets for me (I'm sidelined today with patella dislocation) just phoned to say it hit +200. I told him to keep waiting unless it falls to +195. I'm thinking it'll hit a point where buy back on IU begins, but who knows, maybe it'll hit +210 first.

The more and more I look at these comparisons like this...I think its very, very possible, if not likely, we need to win today.

That's A LOT of teams with very similar resumes. All it'll take is a couple of them winning a game or two more, and they'll have both the recency bias, and the resumes, to bump us out.

A win today should sure it up though! Lets go fellas!

Hey Cav, check this out and keep it in mind the next time you think about betting on a tournament champion or even Super Bowl champion before the playoffs start.

I just checked and IU opened +6 vs Iowa tomorrow, which means we could be looking at a +200 money line again tomorrow.

Okay, so I just calculated my potential payoff for betting $200 money line and letting it ride each day. If IU is close to +200 tomorrow, then I imagine they'll be at least that if they win and face PU on Sunday. If we play MSU, lets just say +100 right? If we beat PU, I'll cash out $12,960 (64 to 1 odds) and if it's MSU then it'll pay $8,640 (42 to 1 odds)

Anyway, this is not me being Carlos Boozer cocky and overconfident that the Hoosiers will win. No jinx as I'm not expecting to win or anything like that. Just thought this was a great opportunity to show how the "Let it Ride" approach is a better way to bet on a tournament pick as opposed to the tournament odds that the Book throws up.

I've always assumed that it was a bit of a ripoff, but I'd never thought to actually do the math on it.

Go Hoosiers!! Lets get 2 more and take the BTT Championship from what I was told might be the best Boiler team of all time!
