3rd down play calling is really frustrating.×

I agree. 2nd/short and 3rd/short calls yesterday were not good, especially in 3rd qtr when the IU OL was having their way. Run the ball. Get the 1st, then pass it again on 1st down. Too much thinking, not enough common sense play calling yesterday.

39 minutes to 21 minutes in favor of MSU for Time of Possession says it all. And people wonder why the already thin D wears down???

Did I hear this correct?? msu ran 95 plays to iu's 60? If not correct, I apologize. Someone gave me that stat last night.

I realize you run 1st downs so you have shorter yardage on 2nd and 3rd, as well as keeping the hogs non complacent. Unfortunately, Wilson is to predictable and everyone knows what's next. Gotta mix it up more, keep em guessing.

Absolutely^^^^also don't we have the best o-line in the big? If so run pulling guards more or wide receiver crack backs more. The point is this, if were to confuse the osu's or msu's of the world our play calling has to be more diverse. Like that hb screen that we scored from the 10 or something...hello!! Your not gonna fool no one running a half back dive every first down, they pick up on it eventually.
