IUs free throw defense has lead to their only 2 wins in 8 weeks. Another fact for the little children here.

Iu's depth was a factor. Wisconsin was gassed and they didnt have the legs at the end. It wasn't all "free throw defense".

But I agree that Indiana must do a better job of putting games away when they can. Too many give aways with poor shot selection, or i the case last night, not the best transition defense to stop Wisky from quickly getting to spots they wanted.

When are you going to do another about face?
First you were in the fire Archie camp and then you said you had watched some Dayton games and were impressed by what you had seen. Now you are back in the first camp. Is the change of heart due to you quit taking your meds?

It seems that maybe free throws just are not worked on like they used to be? Michigan State was like 8-22 when we played them. I saw a Minnesota game where they went 7-21. I mean those are just flat out awful numbers.

Yeah, and what are the chances Wisconsin misses five free throws in a row....in overtime, at that! Sometimes the basketball gods smile on IU sometimes they frown.

Are you still here?

I'm mildly surprised that a chickensh!t coward such as yourself would continue these nonsensical diatribes for this long.

How many more posts before the IU Administration finally listens to reason and considers your well thought out and unemotional opinions about Archie Miller? 200? Maybe 300.

So when IU doesn't hit their FT it's because they're bad players and/or bad coaching. When the other team shoots their FT poorly then IU is just lucky. Sure, if the other teams shot better IU would have a few more losses. Of course, IU would have a few more wins if they shot better. But according to you and your ilk, IU deserves those losses but not the wins.

With logic like that, soon you'll be told how much more successful this poster is than you are.

Go shoot 10 FT's, then run a mile as fast as you can before shooting 10 more. I bet your percentage goes down. Make teams work hard on both ends and it will have an effect on shooting. Just a theory.

We've also had four circus shot dagger three's go against us in the last two minutes of games that turned in to losses (two vs Iowa by Bohannon, Jackson threw a 30 foot chest pass for a three for Ohio State and Cline threw in a 30 foot shot running away from the hoop for a three and then had another one right after hit the front of the rim, bounce up and fall back in. Remember when we were up by four with less than two minutes when he hit that one? Probably not).

So using your ifs and buts and candy and nuts logic we're actually closer to 9-8, 18-10 overall and easily in the tournament.

So why are there so many babies on here crying?

not so much about IU, but about some other guys around the league who make a free throw look like a prayer shot.

do any coaches today teach the underhand (Rick Barry, Wilt), free throw to those who just can't make it work with a traditional shooting motion?

i'm thinking with some, no way can they do worse underhand.

And both wins have been overtime games no less.Otherwise we would be 0 for Jan and Feb.
so lets see if that's the case then when we lose because we can't shoot free throws well but when we win because the other team struggles that's the only reason we won. You dumbass idiots need to stop with all the negative comments and go do something constructive. We lost to Iowa because of a missed free throw or didn't you see that idiots.

That's all those idiots know how to do is cry.

I play in a basketball league and I am 46 years old and shoot a better percentage and run up and down the court faster than most of our players do. It's called concentration and taking a deep breath before shooting. I see Green just get up to the line and throw it up like he knows it's going in but it doesn't.

You got any eligibility? We could use you.

...and if players who you scout not to need to defend at 3 hadn't gone insane from distance or any IU players were capable of routinely hitting an open 3, they'd be competing for the top 4 in the Big 10. What is your point? Players making shots wins game while players missing shots lose games? Brilliant insight! This team is VERY limited offensively. We knew that going into the season. They are top 25 defensively (according to most metrics)...something that with the size problems and young guards I doubt anyone really expected. If you have to act like an idiot and ignore most evidence to make your point, maybe you should just stop talking?

I'd LOVE to see you try to run up and down for 40 minutes with college kids (a lot of whom are NBA athletes) or play people who practice every day and were good enough to get D1 scholarships. You're full of it...

really Since you don't know me go **** yourself. I also don't see these kids running up and down for forty minutes you idiot. I see a lot of standing around at the three point line so if anyone is full of it it's you dumbass.

I also know that I can't shoot better than anyone on this team from behind the arc. The only problem I have is dribbling. I can only dribble right so anyone with basketball IQ can stop me.

I heard you weren't very athletic too. Jimbo says you are the weak link on the team.

I don't know about that. I am a 6ft white guy who could dunk when I was younger.
LOL...please tell us more about your athletic accomplishments. I’m really interested in an idiot that can’t dribble with his left hand, could dunk on an 8ft rim, moves like a cheetah on the court and still bangs free throws at 90% thinks. Where are these idiots coming from?

Seeing how you're an idiot that don't know me stfu. I am 6ft tall can dunk on a 10 ft rim and can shoot in the upper 80% from the free throw line. I just can't dribble the ball. I never practiced dribbling to get good.

I'm really interested in idiots that don't know someone that can run their mouth about shit they have no clue of knowing if it's true. I guess some dickheads will always be dickheads.
