They are 8-3, one game behind NW, Iowa & MD, all of whom are at 9-2.

They have a legit shot at the BT championship. Of the 3 leaders, they only play MD, at home. They play 4-7 MN twiice and 5-5 Nebraska twice. They play 1-9 Illinois, 5-5 OSU & 5-5 Michigan once each.

They would have to beat MD Thursday.....not a good match-up there.........

I will say this about the women's team v. the men's.........there are times when they don't play well.....esp. against very quick/athletic teams.........they are not really quick & athletic and sometimes it shows on TOs or defense....., but they are very skilled.......and, they almost always play hard, which is not true, imo, of the men's team. It was very refreshing to hear Ali Patberg's interview after the game.......there's a kid who's very happy to be playing college basketball, and gives everything she has to her team...........
