Utah now has as many wins as Washington

They're actually panning out to be a decent 9th rounder. Judging by the other teams taken after me, I couldn't have done better unless I picked Kansas St or Northeastern, or went off the deep end and selected Vanderbilt or William and Mary. I thought about Kansas St but I just can't root for a Huggins team.

Washington has killed me. Shoulda gone with SIU, but even if I did and Wash was available in the 3rd round I would have picked them and missed Akron. Gotta stop gambling on young teams early in tough leagues, 18 games or not.

I wonder if Ashton can catch me?

6 points is a lot this late in the season, but given that my teams have completely stopped winning, I think he has a shot. 12th place is still possible for me.

Rider also is hurting you.

You're spotting the contenders a lot on your at-large pick. So am I.

You're giving away 8 wins on a-ls to TBL. But Peegs, CJ and Rum are way ahead of us on a-ls too. I can rationalize losing the a-l battle to CJ since he drafted it early, but none of the others did.

You looked dead before Va and L'vlle staged big rallies.

Honestly, Washington looked like a safe pick. I didn't like them at the 1-2 turn, but I would have jumped all over them at 3-4. Sometimes you need to have someone land on a grenade for you. Unfortunately no one took Was off the board before you did.

PAC 10 was weird. Three people lucked out with later picks in that league...USC, Stan & Wa St. No way those people anticipated those teams doing as well as they did, or they would have drafted them sooner.

I had the PAC 10 team figured wrong too, because I coveted Cal for a 5th round pick and they were a bust.

If I would have had 5 minutes on that pick

I might have taken Siena instead from the MAAC. Outside of Marist and Rider they were the only team in that conference that had actually won a few games. They looked pretty decent at Marist last weekend.
