Here i go...been a hoosier fan well over a decade and football fan for atleast 7years now. My opinion for this season especially is this, we go 4-0 to start season. Great!! Unfortunately those wins were to no one, and we barely won a couple of those games. So we play a buckeye team that everyone is hanging that ole hoosier moral victory hat on and give them them all we got and more. They finally wake up after overlooking us and show why their #1. Once again we drop a egg cause our rb and qb goes down...figures!!
My point is this I like Wilson but dont agree with alot of his decisions. 1st. why the hurry offense? Yea it's suppost to tire the defense, but always backfires on us...not to mention this team isn't Oklahoma built with athletic studs. 2nd. Our offense is sooooooo basic! Hb dive, slant run a-gap blah blah blah. Wheres the trick plays? We catch no one off guard, not to mention our run on 1st down, run on 2nd down, then throw on third, or pass on 2nd an 3rd down. We are to predictable, the little sisters of the blind school could figure us out! Also why do we come out conservative after the half with a lead? pound them in the ground! We're Indiana we don't have the luxury to be lax. Finally. I don't understand why everyone gets so upset with with our execution. Here's the problem(BIG TEN TEAM, MAC TALENT) Yes it can happen look at Northwestern, but these coaches got to find these kids strenghts and multiply them, because otherwise i see alot of bone-headed plays with zero football I.Q. applied. There's no excuse, these kids have played long enough to have some awareness. So their phsically outmatched, they should know how to tackle or know their basic assignment.
Okay I'm done now with my useless rant, just wish these coaches could assemble a team that plays 4qtrs, smashes someones teeth in, and finally wins a f@#$ing game against some team of prestige! Have a good hoosier night.
