IU opens up their tournament with a 9-6 win over Toledo. Trainer probably had her worst outing in a long time by giving up five earned runs over 2.2 innings in a no-decision for her. Needless to say, IU was able to overcome the early poor start.

The IU women rebounded to win their two games today to end the tournament. IU beat Saint Francis, 13-6, and got some revenge on Ohio, which they lost to on Friday, by beating them 6-4. Trainer got both of the wins to go to 18-3. It's on to B1G play next at Ohio State.
