From the first media timeout to clearing the bench, scoring differential was 66-23. The scoring runs/extended defensive stands might be what I miss/savor the most - can't get too het up about such against Central Arkansas, but believe there'll be times in Conference this year where it's the same, especially inside AH. Also thinking that this Team has it in them to turn in a performance from deep like one against a ranked Illini squad years ago where Hornsby, Coverdale, Fife and even Odle just lit them up. Packline is somewhat vulnerable to good perimeter shooting, but might be fun to see how that cuts both ways when IU faces same.

You make a good point about the defense. When they are locked in the other team does not get a good look. Last night it was some solid D and partly the opponent just not being very good.

I watched more for how many open shots they gave up, or clear drives to the basket. Just assume better teams getting those same shots or open drives will score more often than not. IU still has work to do.

Yep, that's what happened against Marquette. When this time is firing on all cylinders they can beat anyone at home.
