Maybe five years ago I was at a craps table at Caesar’s. A bunch of hammered college guys were playing and we were having a decent roll. This guy had prob made about 500 so far in the roll, when he hit another point, with a nice bet behind it. He got dead serious when celebrating and said “yes!!! Getting ****ing hookers!!!!” His eyes were priceless. Not an ounce of sarcasm, that man had himself a night in Vegas.

I think Michigan and Indiana are a bit undervalued in early projections including Torvik. He has us in the top 20, I truly believe, on paper, that both IU and Mich are top 10. Michigan needs a starting PG though.. and we need TJD back of course.
Kansas is in a rebuild this year, depending on who comes back, they should be down a bit. Zona won't have Mahurin or Koloko (sp?) they'll still be tough but I still believe we will have a chance.
A bit too early to make predictions so .. we'll see .. but expecting two wins isn't that off base as it seems due to recent history.

The year I turned 50 was the Colts Bills whiteout game. Two of the guys I work with are Bill's fans and we were going to go to it, but the guy with the season tix totaled his car that night before as he left his place in Toronto and ended up in the hospital. I was stuck in Erie with my other buddy trying to figure out what to do and we ended up not going. Felt like we bitched out on that one.
