SETTING THE SCENE
• Indiana is coming off just its second loss of the season, a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Maryland to drop to 2-2-1 in Big Ten play.

• Femi Hollinger-Janzen scored his team-leading fourth goal to bring the Hoosiers back to within one but it was not enough in a 2-1 loss to Maryland on October 19 in Bloomington.
• The Terps struck first in the 20th minute when Alex Shinsky broke free with the ball up the left side. After a few deft touches he faced Indiana goalkeeper Colin Webb in a 1v1, where he took a left-footed shot to the far post for his second goal of the year.
• Indiana took six shots in the first half, with its best look coming from Andrew Oliver as he faced Maryland goalkeeper Zack Steffen at the near post. Oliver tried to angle his shot around Steffen but the keeper blocked it out for a corner kick.
• Six minutes into the second half the Terps added to their tally as Alex Cronagle scored his first of the year. Mikias Eticha sent in a long ball over the top from 25 yards out, and Cronagle headed the ball over an on-rushing Webb for the score.
• With 33 minutes left in regulation, Tanner Thompson whipped in a free kick that made its way through traffic to Hollinger-Janzen, but the half shot that bounced off his boot was stopped by Steffen.
• Hollinger-Janzen came through with his team-leading fourth goal of the season in the 73rd minute that cut the Maryland lead in half. Freshman Jack Griffith gets his first point in a Hoosier uniform as his serve from the right side met the head of Hollinger-Janzen, who skied over his defender to hit the upper 90.

• A total of 3,755 fans were on hand in Louisville for the win, a good number of them wearing the Cream and Crimson.
