When teams trail by 13 or more under 5 minutes to go in 4th......
YEP...IU gives that ONE win to Tennessee. Can't be any more graphic than that

What was time on clock when Tennessee started drive to cut it to 1 score and what yard line?

The way that stat is worded (13 points or more) includes blowouts to skew the data to fit a narrative.

A score, stop, and score in 7 min isn't a ridiculous improbability, especially for a team with 3 timeouts.

That stat is very disingenuous as they were about to make it a 1 score game shortly after the 5 minute mark.

It's a little more dramatic when a team has only been able to score three field goals up until those final minutes. Who opened up the floodgate at that particular time, the gods of football who like to torment the little man?

Yes, but if true, it apparently had not happened once this year........so maybe it was 30 or 40 to 1.

Also, how about the stat that TENN was 0-10 (apparently over 2 years, for this coach) when trailing after 3 quarters? That's a good one............

Again, that's a meaningless stat given the context. They trailed Florida by 21. They trailed Alabama by 15. They trailed Georgia by 15. There are maybe 2-3 teams in the country capable of coming back in those scenarios. Trailing Indiana by 10 is hardly an equivalent.

It's pretty wild because it seems like Tennessee has won several similar games like that (or lost) over the last few years. That's why I didn't dare leave the game early like some Vol fans were doing (I'm a Vol fan).

In 2014 against South Carolina we were down 14 with 1:55 left in the game and still won. Crazy endings and Tennessee go well together, for better or worse.

Okay, then what about the other 7 teams? Actually, I thought the stat they quoted was 0-13, not 0-10 after three quarters. If so, okay then, what about the other 10 games?
