    Ya, Wisconsin is incredibly beatable right now. IU HAS to grab this win to stay afloat this season. It is a home game. TJD and JHS should be enough against Wisconsin sans their best player. That being said, not the kind of game I would put money on.

    As an outsider with a bunch of IU friends, I think the common denominator for the last decade is these teams are always less than the sum of their parts. Kids don't often grow and improve year over year. Recruiting and 'tradition' seem to be more important than the team's actual basketball...

    He had a couple stints at Purdue, probably more of a "Brad Stephens guy" than a "Painter guy" but he has been around good HC. Played at Cathedral in HS too so he has roots in the state.

    I think Shrews will be a good coach and move up the ladder from PSU, has a chance to be the real deal in college coaching. IDK if he is a fit at IU, probably not a flashy enough hire for the fanbase, but I think he will thrive somewhere at a good basketball school before his career is over.

    That's a good take, it is interesting though with TJD's comments post game about players "not doing what the coaches tell them to do". He needs more "pieces that fit" than AAU type stars IMO.

    Was driving and didn't see any of the game, but from looking at the box score (outside of turnovers) it is surprising they lost. 50% from 3, other team well under 40%. Significantly outrebounded them...... too many turnovers I guess?

    Had this convo on our board in the past, usually more pertaining to football though. I wonder if some players ask to not have any info disclosed to the public. HIPAA rights. I'm assuming they would need to grant approval to speak in anything other than general terms about their medical condition?

    The B1G will work out a deal with a network and match up with BIG 12 or even the PAC (although they may be salty at us right now, then again, they can't be turning down money now either). ESPN is focused on the SEC now and showcasing their teams in every sport they can.

    I would be shocked if IU doesn't win, NC doesn't look good, they will be missing an important player, and they look lost on offense early in the season. IU win would probably knock them out of the rankings next week.
