    Did I say that? There's quite a gap between missing the tourney while being ranked 100+, and making a Final Four or winning a title. I expect IU to fall somewhere between those things. My expectations simply based on personnel would be top 6 or so in the B10, and making the tourney comfortably.

    The only serious reason that I could see Perez being set aside for Sainz is if Red Bull thinks that Max might leave in the next 2 or 3 years, and they rate Sainz as having more potential to be a #1 than Perez. That's a stretch though. I agree with you. I think he'll end up at Audi.

    Lol. I'm sure that's it. It seems to me that we've got some decent pieces coming in/back at this point. Next year could be a decent year for IU. How unfortunate for Stevens, Donovan, Hurley, Oats, etc.

    This is basically what we tried with Miller. The success stories are great, but it seems as if the failures are more common. I do agree that this is what most schools need to do. Luring coaches who are already successful with big programs usually doesn't happen.
