    I'm sure OSU would like this setup, being in the same pod with IU, Ill and PU; while UM is in a pod with MSU and ND. The problem with pods is the same as it was with divisions: balance. Is it fair to put OR, WA, USC and UCLA in the same pod?

    Since there will no longer be divisions, there is really no reason to have an even number of teams. But let's say hypothetically the B1G adds Miami to make 20 teams; then it could be called The Big 10s, or the Big Ten x 2, or the Big Tent. Take your pick.

    What's so great about an OT session where the teams can still end up in a tie? Obviously, the teams can't have a tie in playoff games, but they do in the regular season. I think the NFL's OT protocol is stupid. I'd take the college OT plan any day.

    to Samson James? I understood that after his non-playing year at pukeland, he was coming back to IU as a walk on, but I don't think he was on the roster last year. Hard to believe that a guy who was good enough to sign with OSU has fallen that far.

    Not that big of a deal. A couple of years ago the pukes had two QBs, Appleby and another whose name I can't remember, who left for LSU and Florida and both started. Lots of team are losing talented QBS. Joe Burrow walked on tOSU.

    A lot of these coaches don't retire at 65. It wouldn't surprise me if he coaches until 70.
