Should a coach at another program really post on the message board of his former school? I always thought it was odd even in spite of him being a former player
That's on the coaches. They had 7 fouls for the entire game at that point and Malik had 4 of them. While I agree that Malik should have been smarter, it was up to the coaches to make sure that the other 4 knew what to do, too.
Go watch the replay right after Malik's bucket to put IU up 2. 72-70, I think.
Woody and Rosemond were both out on the floor yelling at the team to foul. So Malik fouled. I think what you saw Malik doing was not complaining as much as defending himself. "You told us to foul!"
I think he did it because of all of the attention that he's getting. And now he gets the added benefit of embarrassing a popular american journalist even more than he did in the interview.
But, hey, the Moscow subway has chandalliers!
He would have at least been an elite recruiter at Indiana.
I would have liked to have seen him get a shot. If I was going to take a chance on a Hoosier hero it would have been him.
I was in one today with my daughter. Covid and Flu tests. We were in and out in an hour with no appointment. We waited long enough to walk from the check in counter to sit down only to immediately stand back up to go see the doctor.
