    How have they lost their “cache” in hoops? They just played for a National Championship a few years ago and have been to 3 straight sweet 16’s and PAC 12 titles. I’d be fairly happy if we’d done that.

    They picked up a total of 6 from the portal and one was a TE from Ohio U. They spent the money on retaining players like Emeka, Sawyer, JTT and Ransom. I’m sure Caleb Downs wasn’t cheap but I read a list of the top 10 NIL players this year and none were from OSU.

    Makes more sense, I read it wrong. I still personally don’t like it but not because of the idea, just all of the change. I know it’s inevitable but I was happy with 11, fine with 12, annoyed with 14 and now with 18 I’m just numb.

    No, I get it. Spoiled was not incorrect though. However, the NIL money that has been spent by the boosters this offseason leads me to believe that it’s not an option to beat Michigan next season. Michigan winning a championship has lit a fire under their boosters and collectives.
