    The Ranger Power project in Shelby Co. was 199 MW approved in 2019. The sponsor, Speedway Solar, LLC is an indirect subsidiary of D.E. Shaw Renewable Investments, LLC and hired Ranger Power to develop it. All electricity generated by it will be sold into the wholesale power market.
