Different players. Both are obviously very talented.

Good list......I would add Bobby Wilkerson 76 and Jim Thomas 81.

I wonder if bringing in McKinley Wright would have changed things even if it meant "Creaning" a player or two. Perhaps this is what Fife was talking about shutting up the IU fans sometimes.

    Gender Equity

The problem I have with this, is the the new "non-gender" world we live in, by all rights makes the entire Title IX prejudicial by categorizing people. In today's world there should only be one team for each sport which is open to any competitors regardless of their gender.

    Gender Equity

To be fair...we all have different things we are passionate about. That doesn't make one any more or less important than the next. What is sad is the amounts of money "required" to play a game. If its about the athletes, they can play club sports on their own to have fun. When its about...

    Gender Equity

This is the new American motto. "Put money into things that won't see monetary return" But as history shows, "the squeaky wheel gets the grease" ..... even if its not being used on the wagon, but just being hauled on the side.

    Is the the lineup set

Good words "no one is owed a starting position". Everyone wants a fair chance and if they believe that IU offers that, players will come.

    BT players in & out

In my opinion this is why coaches have to be so flexible in their approach. You never know who or what you are going to have and injuries throw monkey wrenches in the system too. I asked a successful HS coach at a school on a military base why he didn't do more summer work with kids and...

Anyone want to take a stab...

Agree that it will be difficult to have both on the floor at the same time, but I also think having both Race and TJD makes IU a much tougher team to go on long runs against.

Anyone want to take a stab...

I agree with you regarding Bates, Lander and Geronimo. I would also throw Leal in that group to push for time too.

Anyone want to take a stab...

I think Geronimo and Bates will surprise you. Looking for both of those two to get some time in the new structure.

Transfer names we're actually looking at.......

I saw him play a couple times in high school and he was a good ball handler and decent shooter, but nothing like those highlight clips with all the dunks.

I hope you are correct regarding TJDs ability to shoot. As I said, I haven't seen that yet but its a skill he needs to be effective. Im not counting on much from Brunk with his bad back and Duncomb may be a redshirt. Until we get another transfer, I would move Geronimo and Hunter into the 4...

    Depth Chart

To run a 4 out offense well, you need 4 ball handlers/shooters. Your PF and C positions don't currently list someone with those skills.

    Race is back

Race will be difficult to keep off the court because of how hard he works and his size. Parker will be a big addition to IU because we don't have someone who can shoot and penetrate at his size. Kristian will be incredibly better next year just because he has more confidence and more experience.

Armaan most likely staying at IU

First three Big Ten Games scored 16, 23 and 18 before injury. Were not many with better start.

Armaan most likely staying at IU

Armaan was IU's best guard and a top 5 guard in the BIG last year when he got injured. Even better, he was still improving and gaining confidence. The injury was unfortunate in timing as without Armaan, IU became very easy to defend against and had they known he would not be back 100% it made...
