    It made sense for us to pooch kick it. They have an explosive returner and we suck as kick off coverage. It didn't make sense for them to do it. We always fair catch it which would put us on the 25. With the pooch kicks we were always starting past that.

    I would classify myself as a diehard IU fan probably for about 5-6 years. In this short time, I am already getting frustrated by "the same old story". I find myself preparing myself emotionally for a let down by saying "I know IU is going to lose in the end, so it doesn't matter what happens"...

    I get that. I guess I was asking if we had an offensive identity? For example, "generally" OSU and Purdue seem like their offensive identity is being aggressive with downfield passing regardless of the defensive scheme. I know I might be over simplifying that too.
