It was Wilson-esque. When it works it’s great but it can lead to a long day for your D, can hand a statistical advantage to the better team (which often isn’t IU) by increasing total possessions, and it’s hard to shift gears and control the clock.
Allen will never tolerate that style offense.
There are two issues there. One is giving the kid that call to make in his second start in what you are calling the biggest game in history. The second is hinting to the press that the disasterous result wasn’t really on the staff.
I can’t see LK without recalling him getting his butt totally chewed out on National TV by Saban a few years back during a championship game.
