Russia may well require Rubles or Gold....

as payment for The EU's purchases of petroleum products.

The Russian Central Bank (non-Rothchild),
has pegged the Ruble @ 1 gram = 5000R,
($50 US) at recent Forex at 100-1, using paper Rubles as proxy.

The EU's choices now are now to pay directly in gold, or buy Rubles - either of which increases demand for Rubles.

Foreign holders of dollar debt notes in reserve will see less use for them and likely start dumping them for a currency which is more stable and holds value. Japan, already on a gold-based order, will dump dollar debt notes as fast as they can, purchasing gold-based currencies...like the Ruble. As the deflationary effect makes Rubles more valuable, the RCB can set the exchange rate wherever they choose..

All excess dollar debt dumped will add to the the US extant hyperinflation.

There's no wonder Xiden is begging Europe to help regime change in Russia, as the streets fill with hungry, angry Americans here at home, demanding answers..

There will be a reckoning...

Woodson

So Woodson now has his guys as they say. I am expecting big things on recruiting no excuses now. He had his guys as they love to say. He got rid of the so called cancer do lets see some big time results this summer. This is usually the time new coaches get big recruits early on before they have had seasons.. Archie did. Crean did. Davis did.

Former Players

I wonder what happened to some of these guys like herman, ellis, deandre thomas etc. Google them and nothing. Probably means not good. Bud Mackey in jail I think.

Michael Herman, Westinghouse High School

The West Side native was known to consistently drop 40s and 50s on college and NBA guys who would play in the Pro-Am at LeClair Courts and Malcolm X College while he was still in high school at Westinghouse. After graduation, Herman played one year for Bobby Knight at Indiana, but things didn't quite work out beyond that. Still, in mid- to late-'90s, Herman wore the crown as Chicago's best baller.

A different view on Fife firing

I once let an employee go who was going to leave so that he could get a severance. It possibly looked like a firing but I was really doing him a favor. Is it possible that if Dane resigned we would lose a year of pay. Because he was was fired without cause, he gets $300k + to start his next adventure. That would make coach Woody the bigger man. He is taking some heat to help Dane out when both knew it wasn't a good fit.

University of Jesus Christ

“Moye: It was the second weekend of the tournament, so there's any where from 20 to 30 media members around every day. They were all around JJ and Fife and asking how we're going to compete with Duke. I said, 'Man, they're human beings just like us. They put on their jerseys one sleeve at a time, their shorts on one leg at a time, their socks on one at a time. They're not the University of Jesus Christ and the 12 Disciples. Duke is just a name on a jersey.' I said that. And everybody kind of looks at me. JJ looks at me with his mouth open. Coach Davis found out about it and said, 'Moye, you can't talk to the media anymore.' “

😂😂😂 Classic. I forgot about that Moye quote.

'A team that rallied Indiana.' 20 years later, go inside IU's unexpected run to title game.

Northwestern series preview...

Here's the link to the series preview. As usual, Perkins will pitch game one and Brehmer will be on the mound for game two. Game three is another TBA as Coach Mercer is still trying find someone consistent enough to claim that third spot and I'm beginning to wonder if that third spot is going to be a committee approach for who knows how long. The weather is okay for Friday and Sunday with Saturday expected to be rainy. On Friday, the forecast right now is a high of 47 with mostly sunny skies and no precip with winds at 7 mph, gusting to 14. On Saturday, they are expecting a high of 51, cloudy with an 80% chance of precip and winds about the same as Friday. On Sunday, they are expecting a high of 58, mostly sunny, with not much wind at 5 mph and gusts to 9.

Added note: IU's game on Sunday will be on the BTN starting at 1 p.m. (ET).
