Rice is a leader and big game player. Missed a few FT but made the important one, and the big shit right before. The steal, behind the back pass was some incredible skill stuff. Rice is probably the best guard in the league.

Kanaan has a lot of potential. He is gonna have to learn he isn’t the go to player. That one three he took was atrocious, can’t do that at IU unless you have hit 3 in a row before that.

Ballo is perfect for us. Not gonna run stuff for him other than high PNR stuff. He is so big! Had a hard matchup today and got put in his place a bit. That is good for him because he isn’t gonna see that again anytime soon. He is about to eat the next few guys thrown at him. The foul to send them to the line for a 1/1 was such a high IQ play.

I was just perusing through all of the standings throughout the nation, and noticed that JMU has a record of 6-2. I remember them putting 70 on North Carolina earlier this year. Can you imagine how good they would have been this year had all of those transfers stayed along with the coaching staff? Crazy to think about.

It isn't in schools so much that every major textbook company decided to include it in math questions. 40% of the textbooks had to be tossed because they focused on something other than math (or moved the focus).

this election. I am concerned about the pubs taking the house on a couple of issues. Most importantly healthcare. It would actually provide an opportunity to dump Obamacare. As sope has found out and many of us who have considerable experience in the healthcare system know it’s a broken mess. At every level. From the cost of insurance to care.

One godsend in this boondoggle has been coverage for pre-existing conditions. I would hate to see us go back to pre Obamacare days and put that worry on so many.

I love Goldens, and having lost two to cancer, I’m feeling depressed about Ben being gone.

Herbstreit lives in Cincinnati and is doing the Thursday night game tonight against the Ravens. Bring home a W for Ben.

When I’m king I’m going to stop all Golden breeding for five years. There’s been tremendous over-breeding and there need to be some intensive studies to close down the susceptible lines. Then start over with those lines where cancer is rare. Something needs to be done. These great dogs once had an average life span of 15 years. Now it looks to be around eleven. Ben was ten. Both my boys passed away before they turned 11.

I don’t mean to minimize cancer in humans. I’m hopeful there’s a researcher out there today who is closing in on the cure. I know some here are going through issues with cancer, either personally or with a family member. Know this - I have faith that that guy/gal is out there, working in some lab, who will beat this. And what a great day that will be.

There was a lot of chatter among fans that Florida would fire Napier and go after Cig this off-season. If Auburn dumps Freeze they might pursue Cig but I don’t know of any other high profile Big Ten or SEC school that might have an opening.

So, what happens in 2028? If Harris loses, one assumes she will run in 2028 as the candidate who fell on her sword to try to defeat Trump. I don't know that the Democratic Party will buy that. There will be a battle between Newsome, Shapiro, and maybe Beshear. I expect Shapiro to win based on electability, he will win Pa and that is pretty close to a guaranteed D win in November. Shapiro-Beshear might be a tough ticket.

If Trump loses, one expects Vance to be the frontrunner but far from guaranteed. I think either Youngkin or DeSantis wins. Haley probably lost her shot by staying in against Trump. Assuming in this scenario Trump loses, Vance will carry that loss, I doubt he has the Teflon coating Trump has. The Senators (Cruz, Rubio, et al) always have a hard time winning.

It's becoming a statistical dead heat in the new polls. She appears to have made up all the ground lost after the Biden debate and has the momentum heading into the DNC and then the final stretch. Very interesting and thorough poll here:
