Effective NOW, my motto is “you either provide customer service or you don’t”
When some business tells me a sob story about why they suck at delivering the goods or service their business was created to provide, I’m telling them “I am sorry - I don’t mean to be rude, but I don’t care - you either provide customer service or you don’t - it is not my job to solve your s supply or personnel problems - I’’ll take my business elsewhere - good luck.”
I’m done enabling incompetence, laziness, excuses, and explanations. My clients hired/fired me based on service and results.
