Curt Cignetti handed Kurtis Rourke keys to Indiana's offense

Part 2

One Thing Ignored By ESPN Clowns

I am surprised I made it through the complete show tonight about the CFB rankings. I will not go into detail all we heard. Obvious there is national bias against IU. BUT one thing was appreciated by those 4 clowns when talking to the SMU coach and was NEVER brought up with they were dicing up IU like chopped liver. Each team had something in common.

When asked .. the SMU coach mentioned he had an older team. I cannot remember the exact record he said but that is not the point ... that group of older SMU players won a lot and play confident.

Does that sound familiar? It should because Coach Cig mentioned it yesterday when asked ... older team and our coaches have won 24 of their last 25 games. Those of course count the games at JMU played.

But the 4 ESPN clowns never brought up that fact about IU, only went on and on about a weak schedule. You would think the B1G was ranked lower than the Mountain West listening to them. Galloway can go f*** himself but at least McFarland squeezed in "If IU loses a close game they are in the playoffs".... IMO IU wins this game.

The ESPN clowns will be speechless next week. I like what the UM AD said though ... "we watch games and what takes place on the field." ... but two of the ESPN clowns seem to want SOS to count more than what happens on the field !!!!

Screw 'em all and just win out. One game at a time, coaches and players that are use to winning .. and apparently have the ability to shut out all the noise. Even dumbass Galloway said IU had to keep their QB from getting hurt otherwise it is FSU all over again.

Illinois vs. Alabama

This was not a competitive game. The final was 100-87 and that might look OK, but Illinois was down 14-20 from the get-go. Illinois is good (and also very young), but they were no match for an Alabama squad that played at warp speed in everything that they did and relentlessly attacked offensively and defensively.

Alabama was unreal last night. They reminded of how crazy hard and fast UCONN plays.

D2 Nova Southeastern and Jim Crutchfield

Opened up their season this weekend in small college basketball hall of fame classic with games of 122 and 116 points scored. This guy has taken two programs to the championship game in division 2 and plays a very exciting modern day style of basketball. His coaching record for his career is over .800 winning percentage. In my opinion it's either Schertz of Saint Louis or him once Buckner gets out of Dolsons way.

The MAGA boycott of Bud Light is officially over.

I probably sold my BUD stock too early! 😄

I’m at my favorite wings joint which is close to the Y where I worked out earlier. Bud beers (Busch, Ultra, Bud, Bud Light) are the special this month. A guy in a MAGA hat and his buddy (interestingly, a black guy) just sat down at the bar and ordered Bud Lights. No hesitation.

Boycott must officially be over.

Apparently Doritos is the new target, but I’ve not really read up on why.

The above is a compilation of pretty much all I could find on You Tube about the game without wasting an entire day looking for it...
I'm certain there's more out there...

I haven't yet viewed/listened to most of what's above so if there's anything highly negative or downright offensive in regard to INDIANA Football please don't shoot the messenger... As I go through the above I may go back and edit some of the worst takes out...

Obviously some of the above will have a pro o$u slant... I've included those to gain a more balanced overview of the game and "the" o$u's attitude towards it...

Enjoy! (Hopefully)

By the way... That last one is Not a mistake... 😉 We're gonna find out if our guys can "Skin Grizz" this Saturday...

PFF Grades Summary v. Michigan

https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/iu-football-pff-grades-snap-counts-and-notes-from-win-vs-michigan/

Yes the defense did play well … and PFF has lots of praise

The top overall defensive grade went to Mikail Kamara,
- six pressures — five hurries and one hit. He also batted down a pass and recovered a fumble.

With 51 pressures on the season, Kamara leads the nation. The next closest player has 44.

Linebacker Aiden Fisher posted the team’s top run defense grade and second-best overall tackling grade behind cornerback Jamier Johnson, who was ejected in the first half for targeting. …

With Johnson out of the game, Jamari Sharpe filled in at cornerback and posted good grades, especially as a tackler. He was targeted seven times for just two completions.

C.J. West led the team in quarterback pressures with seven hurries, and he also batted down a pass. He had the second best pass rushing score.

The best pass coverage grade went to safety Terry Jones, Jr., who recorded two pass breakups. He was targeted four times and allowed just one reception. Jones also had three quarterback pressures and forced a fumble.

D’Angelo Ponds locked down his side of the field. Michigan only targeted him once the entire game.

In total, IU recorded 25 pressures on the quarterback on 37 pass plays

The top overall offensive grade went to quarterback Kurtis Rourke despite the game being far from his best based on traditional statistical measures (17-of-28 passing, 206 yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT). The interception was Rourke’s lone major mistake, and his accuracy related issues were largely the result of pressure in the pocket he has rarely faced this season. PFF credited Michigan with 14 total QB pressures for the game on 34 drop backs.

The best pass blocking grade went to center Mike Katic. He posted an elite score, and according to PFF allowed none of the Michigan pressures.
