That is still in the hands on the voters. It places a larger emphasis on who you vote into your state legislature who are much more accessible than your U.S. Senator. It was a brilliant concept.

Emphasis on National Politics is every thing wrong today. Democracy is a tool. A useful one. Not a goal in and of itself.

Tell me Marv. When you think of the “elites” do you think of your local State Rep?

The one I remember is a game against MSU in Bloomington in the early 90's when Mallory was Coaching. We beat them soundly something like 35-14. Oh, and They just "forgot" to bring the Brass Spitoon Trophy with Them to Bloomington for the game. They were so cocky They thought Why bring it, we will just keep it and haul it back to East Lansing anyway. Douche Bags.

well, if i've learned one thing in life, it's: IU football doesn't get a chance like this very often.

I haven't seen anything from the top 10 that scares me. IU's as good as team as I've seen this year.

Wentzville. Last time I was there a deck collapsed at “The Farm” after the 3rd last Dead show & over 100 people were injured, right after the fence was busted through at Deer Creek. Bad, TMP-like vibes on that tour. There was a patchouli stinking Asian kid selling grilled cheeses, may have been him, but I was tripping balls on some really good acid, bizarre scene…

MSU May have flaws as a team … which cost them the Michigan game … where they had out gained the the Wolverines. They were not bereft of raw talent.

Houston made K-state look bad.

Tied for first in the BiG Ten should count for more this week with two unbeaten BiG teams left.
