IU bought a team per Sen Tuber ille

Oh God. Hickory again.

A fictional high school (not a college) in the 1950's ( 70+ years ago). What a cliche. What? No reference to Branch McCracken?? Breaking Away??

OSU has about 50,000 students at its main campus. IU has about 38,000 at its main campus.

Those are big mega-university numbers. What a silly, foolish comparison to "Hickory."
Surprisingly IUB had record enrollment this fall. 48,424 per the IDS.

Cav thinks Woodson's teams play hard

Was at the game, they played like they were already on the plane for the tropics. They for sure did not play hard last night. However, while I am not super confident we are going to be a top 10 team at the end of the year, last night doesn't change my thinking.

In college bball these kind of games happen a lot. Do we play to our opponent a lot so far this year? Yep. But we also played more energized than Tenn., and both teams were playing like it was a final 4 game. I don't care if it didn't count. We saw what this team can do.

Woodson: "That's on me..." is getting old!

And when healthy, one of the best, most entertaining offenses in the league. Take the good with the bad.
Not disagreeing with that. Someone was making an argument that NBA defense is bad because they’ve been to Pacers games and they don’t play defense. I was just pointing out that that’s not a fair representation of the defense across the league.

Bessent for SecTreas

It’s amazing to me that the same person who would choose a degenerate loser like Matt Gaetz to run the Justice Department would also choose a rock star like Scott Bessent to run the Treasury. He is truly a great choice, I think.

But watch for exploding MAGA heads on this one. Bessent is not just gay, married to a man, and an adoptive father…but he is also one of the star protégés of none other than George Soros.

What a plot twist.

We can argue about the foundation politics which some of the Soros fortune goes to.

However, being a protege of the financial genius Soros who managed to become a super billionaire isn't something to sniff at.

Don't know much about him but Steve Bannon loves him and he's a regular on WarRoom so that's a good sign.

Bitcoin

Blackrock and now Fidelity have applied for a Bitcoin spot ETF. 60+% of Bitcoin hasn’t moved in the last year. Also, supply will dry up some with the halving, next April. Once, people understand Bitcoin they don’t sell. The separation of the State and money will be one of the greatest human achievements in history.

Gabbard a Terrorist

You've become quite the little ankle biter. You must be proud. I'm still waiting for the link to the site he copied all that from. I'm wondering if it's a Russian propaganda site like the ones you visit. You didn't answer the question about whether you got paid for sharing Russian propaganda or if they just consider you a useful idiot who will do it without pay. Which is it?

Is this good enough for you to collect my winnings?

They're Afraid of Indiana

Beyond historically precedent, OSU has done nothing this year to suggest that this game should be a blowout. True, IU hasn’t played any teams with that much of a pulse, but when OSU has it’s been a one score game, and IU has a pulse. OSU beat MSU by 31, IU won by 37. OSU beat NW by 24, IU won by 17. OSU beat Neb by 7, IU won by 😎.

The odds clearly favor an OSU win, but odds also suggest a competitive game.
I don't know of any rational fans that expect otherwise. Should be a heck of a game

Tax Cuts and Jobs Act

Tax cuts are the best stimulus because they unleash the American people to do what they do and that is to go after their dreams
That's not responsive. They will still increase deficits. Do you care about deficits? I don't, to be honest. I'm starting to care more about them, as they are getting so big they are hard to ignore. But if you care about deficits, you can't just cheer on tax cuts without facing up to the consequences.

Cav thinks Woodson's teams play hard

What kills me is that this team has so much potential that will likely go unrealized due to poor coaching. Right now we look like a team that will win one game in the NCAA Tournament and then be sent packing.
The good thing is he is 64 and he almost got fired last year if it weren't for Buckner he would be gone but if he doesn't make the tournament with this team or is a one and done I think the fan base will push him out especially when you see what Football is doing with a great coach.

They're Afraid of Indiana

Look. I will say this. If we get blown out by OSu what business do we have going into the playoffs a few weeks later? Whatever issues we have that leads to us getting blown out at this late point of the season won’t be fixed in a few weeks. My feelings won’t be hurt if we get blown out and get left out. We had a chance to prove we could compete with the best and didn’t show up. This season has already been a success in my view and we are beyond icing on the cake. Everything else is extra garnish and glitter.

So, this game is a benchmark that will either hush the naysayers or prove them right. We beat the spread we should get in. If we don’t I have no issue playing a regular bowl game. I absolutely want to see how we compete with osu though. Only losers forfeit to be a part of something they know they shouldn’t. We are winners. We don’t take a back seat to anyone. We belong. Jmho
I’m looking at this game realistically. I think if we play our best we can win, even if OSU plays well, but I remind myself that this is a first year coach, coaching a team that was cobbled together less than a year ago. Frankly, IU logically shouldn’t have much of a shot to win.

If the wheels fall off tomorrow and OSU wins convincing, if not dominantly, I’ll be upset and disappointed, but I understand that it’s a near impossible task to establish a winning program in one year. Bottom line, IU fans are lucky, lucky to know that whatever happens tomorrow things can only get better with better recruiting classes and even better teams in the future.
