I saw some pre season ranking. 5th in the big ten and somewhere in the 20-25 national range.
We have a great PG in Chloe. I don’t know if she will, but I think she could shoot more and score more. Very experienced and great defensively.
SG looks like Shay Cieski. About a 35% 3 point shot. Shorter at 5’9”. I don’t know about her defense.
SF likely is Syd (Parish). At 6’2” she is tall for a guard but not so tall as a W or small forward. Good 3 pt shooter. I think solid defensively. Maybe better than solid? Not sure.
PW will be Yardon. 6’3” and maybe our best 3 point shooter at 40%. Not fast at all but Moren has praised how she uses her length. Not sure about her defense grade.
C I think is unknown. They might use Lilly and play more 2 forwards than a C and a PF. They also have Striplin at 6’3” who was depth at Tennessee last year. Currie Jelks is 6’2” and I have no idea what she could bring.
Lexi is a good PG and apparently plays very good D but she cannot shoot. Maybe improved?
I like Beau as my breakout player. Only 6’1” so more a G than F.
Jules seems to play more as a SF. 6’1” like Beau. We really need some players to jump and surprise.
Henna is solid but so far has been bench strength rather than starter.
Faith and Syd (Fenn) are tall - 6’4” and 6’3” respectively. I do not know about practices and do not know if either will provide meaningful minutes.
The new lady from, I think Czech. Valentyne Kavlecova, is a G and about 6’0”. I have no idea if she is a potential scorer or shut down defensive player.
I have no doubt missed someone, and have no real info. Just mostly trying to guess from what we saw last year.

This is going to be an incredibly fun month as we've got first and foremost, the fight of the century, as well as an election with OUR VERY DEMOCRACY AT STAKE, and finally a shocking opportunity for the hoosiers to be in the playoffs. i'll start now and let's see you people be accountable and put your predictions in cement. no told ya so monday morning qb bs.

The election - we won't know that night but will start out super pumped for a trump clear victory but in the end harris will squeak this one out. Harris is the next president.

Caught up with 2026 Ohio four-star Cam Thomas after his visit to IU this weekend. The Hoosiers made a big impression on him.

"The buzz around the program is clear," Thomas said. "The fanbase seems very passionate about having a winning program. My tweets have been going crazy with replies and messages from the IU fanbase. I appreciate the love. Also they made sure I was taken care of while on the visit, my chaperones were great and I was able to meet with the coaching staff before and after the game."

The staff made it very clear to Thomas that he's a top priority for the 2026 class. He speaks often with the linebackers coaches and they constantly preach how he'll be utilized early if he picked them. Thomas definitely has IU on the short list of potential official visits this spring/summer. He'd like to be committed this summer or sooner.

As if IU’s performance on the field hasn’t been impressive enough, Washington will be coming off a bye week, typically a sizable advantage for any team. This will be the fifth consecutive IU opponent to do so. Coach Cig doesn’t give an ounce of sh!t, though . Go IU!

If this happens to one person, it too many. I hope the docs involved in these cases get sued and lose everything they have.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – A visit from ESPN's College GameDay will lead into a noon kickoff on Big Ten Network for the No. 13/13 Indiana football program against Washington. A sold-out Memorial Stadium will host the first meeting as conference opponents and fourth all-time tilt between the Hoosiers and Huskies.

Setting the Scene
• Indiana leads the all-time series 2-1, winning one game in Bloomington and one in Seattle. Washington won the last matchup, defeating the Hoosiers, 38-13, in Seattle. (Another series IU leads).
• The matchup with Washington will be the first since 2003 and the first time in Bloomington since 1978. It will also be the first time that the two programs will play each other as conference foes.

By The Numbers
4 - The 4-0 start in Big Ten play marked the fourth time in program history IU started with an unblemished mark through four conference games (4-0, 2020; 4-0, 1987; 5-0, 1967).
47 - Indiana's 47 (46?) offensive touchdowns are the most among FBS teams through Week 8.
7 - Indiana's seven-game winning streak is the longest since an eight-game stretch during the 1967 season (Week 1-8).

• Indiana enters the game with a 7-0 record ..This is Indiana's second time in program history starting a season 7-0 (2024, 1967).

I'd be happy with #7 myself...

Hard work. I'm not talking about the team, I'm talking about site preparation for the B1G Tailgate Show, Big Noon Kickoff, and now...College Gameday. As an alum and lifelong fan of IU Football/Basketball (men AND women)/Baseball/Soccer, I can't be happier when we succeed and get recognition. As someone that is also ultimately responsible for these pregame/game broadcasts working as intended, it causes some non-fan heartburn lol. Each iteration of pregame is more demanding, so as you sit on your couch or crowd the pregame stage to get on camera, remember there are many hard working IU employees that contribute to making it happen. I'm not complaining (never daunted), we have the *best* people working behind the scenes to make it all possible. GO IU!
