🚨If……who am I’m kidding…….when The Great Donald wins I hope you liberals (looking at you @Aloha Hoosier, @TheOriginalHappyGoat, @Bowlmania and plenty of others) can give @dbmhoosier the respect he deserves for his never wavering, always on point, political analysis. The fact he tries to still educate you people even through all the insults and hurtful words is a testament to his great character.

The five (obvious) starters all played 30+ minutes and scored all but two of the points. Team was 4/19 from 3, so nothing new there. Absolutely nothing surprising about any of this. I’m encouraged Woody decided he does not have a ten-deep team. He doesn’t. His five starters are elite and perfect for his system. Period.

One of my larger concerns this year is Woody imagines Leal, Cupps, Gallo (and others) are anywhere near starter-worthy minutes on this roster. So this is honestly positive, IMO.

This was an exhibition, but against a top team at their place, and Woody has been generally horrible in these games.

Not today. Gonna call this a big win. Honestly.

So Brad Jr. went to his first high school party last night. Kid he knew since elementary school threw it. He and a neighbor went together (walked to it).

30 minutes later they're back at my house. They left because it was "boring." About 100 kids, lots of girls, some dressed in quite revealing Halloween outfits (learned this from another neighbor whose daughter went and stayed until the end). Lots of alcohol there--beer, liquor. Parents knew, supplied some, and were there at the time. When I asked, so what was boring about it, Brad Jr. said "they were just standing around listening to music." (I'm guessing part of it was fear).

By 10 pm, several kids were hammered (per my other source) including a few girls who were "crossed"--for the uninitiated, that means both high and drunk. The parents then told the kids to leave (many kids also brought backpacks of booze into the party, by the way) and when they didn't go quickly, called the cops on their own party and it was broken up by the police.

So, for parents out there, how do you feel about this? I'm OK with my son experiencing it (and kinda wished he had stayed longer to see actual drunk people act stupidly and just get used to an environment like that) but am really turned off by parents hosting a party with booze for 14 and 15 year olds. I guess I'm a full-fledged parent now, because all I could think of was, what happens if one of those kids gets hit by a car while walking home hammered (this is an urban suburb, so everything is pretty close)? Or the girls get harassed, or worse, walking around at night, drunk, in a sexy outfit?

IU 0 for 8 on threes with two technical fouls against IU players. Cupps poor decision making with the ball continues. Slow paced half-court game for the Hoosiers, Vols up 26-25 at the half. Bright spots are Ballo and Rice with the latter keeping us in the game. Carlyle is a quick guard and moves easily with the ball.

Shooting abysmal from IU and even more abysmal from Tenn

A great team wins in a variety of ways and styles. Indiana exhibited this in yesterday's win over Washington.

Indiana looked to be very vanilla on offense because they were operating without Rourke at QB. They ran the ball 50 times while only attempting 19 passes! That's a very conservative game plan that obviously leaned on the offensive line to win the game.

We are chasing titles with this team and DO NOT undersell this team. Teams like this don't come around often at any school, not just Indiana.

Stay healthy and this team can do anything it wants. 2 of the 3 Tucker gallo Newton stay healthy, watch out.

Rice is a leader and big game player. Missed a few FT but made the important one, and the big shit right before. The steal, behind the back pass was some incredible skill stuff. Rice is probably the best guard in the league.

Kanaan has a lot of potential. He is gonna have to learn he isn’t the go to player. That one three he took was atrocious, can’t do that at IU unless you have hit 3 in a row before that.

Ballo is perfect for us. Not gonna run stuff for him other than high PNR stuff. He is so big! Had a hard matchup today and got put in his place a bit. That is good for him because he isn’t gonna see that again anytime soon. He is about to eat the next few guys thrown at him. The foul to send them to the line for a 1/1 was such a high IQ play.

For me.

- 25+ three point attempts.

- Pushing pace and offensive pressure after made Vol baskets.

- Better ball skills and passing than last season.

- Extended (10+) "small ball" minutes with Mgbako at the 4/5 or Goode at the 4.

- Rice or Carlysle getting 6+ assists.

- Win the boards. Get at least one offensive board passed out for a wide open 3.

I watched about 5 minutes. IU looks sloppy and turnover after turnover. I sure hope they gel soon. No Galloway, Tiller, or Newton

As are many of us old boy long suffering fans of IU football, I'm so proud of and happy with this year's success and the reaction of fans and especially the students.

One person I feel so happy for is Don Fischer.

Fish has been so steadfast and true, never daunted, despite the seemingly insurmountable obstacles IU Football has encountered through the years.

His loyalty: Unquestionable.

His good cheer and optimism have buoyed Hoosier fans through many dark afternoons.

He is irreplaceable....

If you listened to Woodson this offseason, he is well aware that he face planted last year. Has mentioned how important getting off to a fast start is multiple times. He wants to win this game very badly. This is not an exhibition game to him.

I do not think he is going to be tinkering with lineups or running different “stuff”. Frankly, he is who he is and there is not gonna be much deviation from his plan.

One thing I have learned from Woodson, is that he does not change it up much. Goes with what he thinks gives him the best shot to win and is pretty set on that. We either are gonna show we can play today or it might be an oh shit moment.

Let’s see what ya got woody. There ain’t no next year. The train is locked and loaded let’s see if we are packing that bitch this year. All aboard!!!

I don't know if I saw something that wasn't there or missed something leading up to it. When Cooper came off the field after the Touchdown, it appeared that Cignetti went right to Him and discussed something with Him. I won't say He got in his face, but Cignetti appeared to be animated and not particularly pleased. I didn't see anything in the Play that obviously led to this - showing up an opponent, hot dogging, or anything fundamentally wrong. Wondered if anyone else noticed this and had an idea of what the discussion could have been about.

Cignetti has pulled this off. I didn't realize how many starters we lost from last year's team until it was discussed on gameday. I know we picked up a lot of James Madison players, but would anyone have thought even if we took their whole roster that they could compete in the big 10. I know we picked up a bunch of guys from the portal but would have to assume they weren't 4- and 5-star guys that the big boys were going after.

it's almost miraculous what he has accomplished in such a short time, has recruiting picked up? what is our NIL situation going forward compared to the top programs? why did he never get a power 5 offer before he turned 60?

must admit what I've seen at memorial stadium the past few weeks is beyond anything I ever thought was possible, but damn it has been so much fun following this team.
