It's not too often 2 championships are decided on the same day, but the College World Series (Tenn-TexAM) and Stanley Cup (FLA-EDM) both have decisive games tonight. If you don't follow hockey, there are a couple interesting story lines in this series: Edmonton was down 0-3 in the series, but has pulled it even with 3 straight victories. Also, a Canadian team has not won the Stanley Cup since 1993-hard to believe. Enjoy the evening.

There were the Burger Chef murders in Speedway. The first unsolved disappearance/murder involving kids that I can remember in Indiana.The crime scene was in an area that I frequented when I was growing up and in high school. I didn't live in Speedway, but at most the two high schools (Ben Davis and Speedway) were 5-10 miles apart from each other. The (500) track was within walking distance of my house, and thruout May you could be in my backyard and hear the roar of the engines and Tom Carnegie on the PA...

The Burger Chef was on Crawfordsville Road, nearly adjacent to the Speedway Shopping Center. I was at IU in 1978 and didn't know any of the victims, but the crime sent a shock wave thru the entire West side of Indy. It has never been solved and due to the Speedway cops botching the investigation it might not ever be. Lots of twists and turns and promising leads, but for one reason or another they never panned out. The main problem appears to be that local LEOs initially assumed the kids working ran off after robbing that night's till, so they did a half assed job of investigating and preserving the "crime scene". They even allowed the BC to open and run as usual the next day, so a lot of possible evidence was lost forever...

Anyway, this docu-drama which just premiered looks pretty informative

Without breaking any confidences and HIPAA deals, Steve is going in tomorrow morning for some testing.

I told him there is strength and power in numbers and that even though he hasn’t been around for a while he is the one among us who has burned the fewest bridges.

We need his loquaciousness around here. He can skewer any of us with his rapier wit with the deftness of a pickpocket and we need that back.

I got bored and wanted to refresh my life a little. Went went to one of those apps. I found someone --- feisty, lawyer; who after a few times, told me that she has certain role-playing fantasies. She likes the rape fantasy. Tied up, wants to be dominated or pinned down. Or even come into her house at night unexpectedly, and 'rape' her in her bedroom.

I had trouble sleeping later the night after she told me. Its never in my DNA to be a 'rapist', albeit role playing. I was thinking, 'How or what would I think of myself if I were to go through with it? Am I too vanilla? (I have had some interesting experiences in the past, like threesomes, three different women in an evening, lactating woman, married women, Karaoke bathroom sex, cars, Washington Monument, etc.

But this type of role play is a little outside my comfort zone.

I googled.

And to my surprise, there are a shockingly huge number of women who actually fantasise about it and would incorporate it into their sexual activities. So I came to the conclusion that I was vanilla.

I went online and got a bunch of stuff. (Ropes, bondage/binding, slave cuffs, collars, vibrators, ropes, silk stuff, etc)

I'm not sure I need to drink first!! I need to figure out if it affects my self-esteem after this too!!

this surprises me. i actually know quite a few people who are excited to vote for jr. i'd bet anything they would have voted for trump. my instinct is tht he will hurt trump more than biden - vaccines, censorship, etc.

In regular wars, if something is helping you win, you can do that thing even more, and win better, faster. But in the culture war, if you hit the gas too hard, you risk making yourself look worse than the enemy.

Dell told workers to classify themselves as hybrid workers or remote. If hybrid, they have to work out of an office 40 days per quarter. If remote, they forfeit promotions and getting hired into other Dell jobs.

1/2 chose remote.

It was believed Dell did this to trim their workforce without paying any severance. Dell really only has one set of offices, in Austin. Others are too small or don't exist. I know people that moved back to Austin because it really was the only choice.

Half forgoing promotion is a lot. I suspect many will go elsewhere over time. Apple is having similar issues with workers. It appears workers are still demanding more flexibility.

The less expensive four year alternative to Jaylen Haralson. This recruitment is legit. He's going to be playing his last season with AZ Prep. I'm not sure if that's significantly more organized than AAU ball but it's a top 5 basketball factory. He's fits well with the Mullins Sisley time-line. I know Sisley left Heat to play with Elite because he likes winning and Haralson was a part of that.
