"Turn the page"

That's the White House message regarding Biden's debate debacle last week.

The problem with the message is that you can't turn the page on age. The unfortunate reality is that Father Time eventually catches up with everyone. That's happened with Biden.

If it was a cold, fatigue from recent travel or just a bad day, his staff would have him out there speaking with reporters, publicly taking questions, talking without a TelePrompter and a script, etc. There's been none of that.

Rep. Lloyd Doggett (D-TX) yesterday became the first Democrat in Congress calling for Biden to step aside. I think that's just the beginning. I'm sticking with my prediction last week that Biden will announce - - by July 22 - - that he's ending his campaign. If I'm wrong and it remains Biden/Trump in November, then selfishness will be Biden's legacy.

The Hawk Tuah Girl just thanked God for her success.

I'm so glad I get to explain this phenomenon to my 3 little girls, now that the older neighbor kids are saying it.

I guess I should thank God for that too?

More importantly, the S Ct just replaced our POTUS w a King.

I'm guessing God had a hand in that too.

First he helped out the Hawk Tuah girl, then he did a solid for Trump at the S Ct.

God truly does work in mysterious ways.

It appears I've discovered something akin to a Unicorn...

I've quite possibly found the last sane politician who still identifies as a Democrat...

Positive News re: Alzheimer's

Let's keep the President out of this and stick to serious discussions. Eli Lilly drug gets traditional approval to help treat the disease and symptoms.

Okay, Utah State's Head Coach was effectively fired today

Losing a head coach at this point is a problem. Given the uncertainty, have to think people will be trying to get their best talent to transfer. As it turns out, our WR coach (Anthony Tucker) was Offensive Coordinator at Utah State the past 2 years. We have scholarships left. Wonder if we will kick the tires on some of their players.

Prep School Athletes

I've never been to one of these prep schools. But I get why a high school kid would be attracted to a prep school. Exposure, possible better facilities, better competition, coaching (though I seriously doubt you can find better coaching in most cases). I still think if you are a good athlete colleges are going to find you anyway and kids usually play in some higher competition during the summer. What I'm trying to understand is the education part. Are these places paying teachers more. Some of these prep schools are just a few years old where do they get the quality teachers ?

Steele's WR unit rankings

Maybe this will light a fire under our guys...

If our WR's play anywhere near their actual talent level as a group this Fall I believe they'll make a statement on the field that will force everyone to recognize them as one of the top units...

OT: It's Bobby Bonilla day...

At age 65, he got his annual deferral check of $1.19 million from the Mets that will continue through 2035 and he also got a deferred check of $500,000 from the Orioles that will continue through 2028. Here's an article that covers some of the deferred payments other past stars are still getting. The deferred payments are small potatoes when you consider the money that MLB throws around nowadays.
