An age limit for the office of President...

There's already a minimum age limit for Presidential candidates set at 35, why not have a maximum age limit also??

I propose we set maximum age limit (to be eligible to run) for President at age 68 (the same calendar year that their (1st term) election would be held...; which means an individual would be no older than 76 or 77 at the end of two terms (they could only circumvent the 68 age limit if they had already served 1 term)...

Throw in a Mandatory Cognitive Test, along with a US government and Global Studies Test (whose content would be provided to all candidates immediately upon their decision to run [to allow them time to study for it]...).

The results would be made public 9 months prior to the election..., and we would circumvent most of the type of dangerous nonsense we're now dealing with...
(In my opinion)

I'd also love to see that a minimum of half their proposed cabinet be revealed 9 months prior to their election... The reality is that the individual we vote for is often just a rubber stamp figurehead. I want to know who'll really be running things...

No "topping" this

When it comes to Darwin award perfection...

Not to be unkind, but this guy clearly didn't die of "brain injuries"... That would require having a brain to begin with. Shocking that he made it to 41...

"A man's death has been ruled an accident after he lit a firework off of his Uncle Sam top hat on the Fourth of July, a South Carolina coroner told USA TODAY Monday.

Allen Ray McGrew, 41, died Thursday afternoon while celebrating the holiday outside his home in Summerville, a town about 25 miles northwest of Charleston, the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office reported last week.

Dorchester County Coroner Paul Brouthers said McGrew died due to "massive head trauma with cerebral avulsion" and ruled his death an accident.

An autopsy "was not necessary" on the victim..."

A Biden lie in my email this morning . . .

I got a campaign email from the Dems (I also get them from the GOP) I read before going to work said, Trump has made it clear with his own words that he would “rip away women’s freedoms, punish women, and ban abortion nationwide.” I put quotes around the part I recall world for word.

It stuck with me because, even if Trump said that in the past, that’s not what he’s saying since Dobbs. Now he’s specifically saying he’s leaving it up to the states. So if Alabama wants to ban it completely, he’s good with that. If California says abortion on demand up until birth, for any reason or no reason at all except it’s what the mother wants to do, is allowed, he’s good with that. So Biden is lying, Trump doesn’t want to ban it. Trump is even good with zero abortion restrictions.

Democrats BEST course of action...

Take Biden out? Get behind him? Time is running out, and I think the absolute worst course of action would be to continue what it looks like they've been doing for a fair bit now...which is cover for him, and let public perception of DNC leadership continue to erode.

There needs to be some decisive action taken, and taken very soon. And since one of those decisions relies on Biden, and his team, to agree to be "taken out"... With Biden certainly not appearing to be on board with that. THEN, I think they need to end all the speculation, and get back to fully backing him. But more importantly, enlisting Harris, Newsome, Whitmer, Obamas, etc... to become HEAVILY involved in general campaigning for down ticket races.

Biden is not going to beat Trump. Unless Trump finally figures out how to hang himself. Practically though, Trump is going to win in November. Even if Biden backed out today, I think Harris or whoever the replacement would be, wouldn't have time to clean up the mess and rally everyone to beat Trump.

So, get behind him. Hide him. Be strategic and use him however he is most effective. But GET TO WORK, with more believable and potentially popular campaigners, and salvage as much of the House and Senate as possible.

The silver lining, if they're effective at saving one or both of them, is having a split White House and Congress "should" limit the damage Trump can do in 4 years. And if this whole Biden thing has resolved the party, at all, to take the POTUS candidacy more seriously, and they actually work to prop up a couple good candidates... The damage Trump will end up doing to the GOP's image over the next 4 years could set the DNC party up well in 2026, 2028, and forward.

They're losing the Oval Office no matter what, at this point. As an Independent...I really, really, really hope they figure out how to avoid losing the Senate and House as well. That should be what matters most right now.

Should we take a moment to realize how far we've come in such a short amount of time?

There are a ton more after this, but I'm out of time.

Are all hirings of a non-white person a "DEI hiring"?

Sorta seems that way.

I heard Newsmax say Kamala Harris was a DEI hire for VP.

I mean, she was twice the AG of the biggest state in American and a 2 time US Senator...not enough for the meritocracy, oh Conservative Intelligencia?

We still landing on "DEI hire" for our VP? Or any non-white person, for that matter? Seems like it.

Who's preoccupied with identity politics and race again?

Biden thanks Philadelphia, PA voters for Delaware Senate race wins... 🙄

Who knows... given the fast and loose approach the DNC takes to voting in Philly maybe they actually did find a way to help him in Delaware... Truth is stranger than fiction with that crowd...

Most likely though is that Ol' Joe, once again, simply didn't know where he was our even what office he's running for...

Commander in Chief , Finger on the Nuclear button, Leader of the Free World...

We are screwed...

Anyone who actually believes that guy is able to carry out his duties as President is at best a brainwashed partisan, at worst, simply a fool...
