BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Indiana earned a split in Saturday's doubleheader with Michigan behind 14 hits and home runs in back-to-back innings to even the series at one game apiece with a 13-11 win in game two.

Indiana and Michigan will play a rubber match Sunday at Bart Kaufman Field at 1:05 p.m. ET.

After Michigan tied the game at four in the top half of the fourth inning, the Hoosiers responded with nine consecutive runs in the next three innings, including five runs in the fourth, capped off by Logan Sowers' three-run home run.

Will Nolden's first career home run, a two-run shot in the fifth inning made it 11-4 and Indiana added two more runs in the sixth for its largest lead, 13-4.

Michigan scored seven runs on five hits in the eighth frame for the eventual final score as the Hoosiers escaped with the win.

Jake Kelzer (2-1) earned the win for the Hoosiers, pitching six innings and striking out five, while Ryan Halstead made his 90th career appearance to close out the final four outs and earn the save. Halstead's 90th appearance set an Indiana school record for most appearances in a career by a pitcher.

••• Donley's two doubles matched a career high and were the most by a Hoosier this season.

••• Freshman OF Logan Sowers had his second multi-hit game in the last three outings and his second home run in the last three outings. Sowers has three home runs in 2015, tying for the most on the team.

••• Sophomore RHP Jake Kelzer earned his second win of the season (2-1) and third of his career, matching his career high with five strikeouts (third time) in six innings.

••• Sophomore RHP Thomas Belcher threw one scoreless inning, allowing just two hits and throwing a strikeout. Belcher remains the only qualified pitcher nationally to not walk a batter this season.
