WCC getting the start tonight in Terre Haute

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Fresh off a weekend sweep over Rutgers, Indiana baseball is set to play a pair of in-state mid-week games, traveling to Indiana State on Tuesday for a 6 p.m. ET start before returning to Bart Kaufman Field on Wednesday to host Evansville at 6:05 p.m. ET.

MID-WEEK GAMES
••• Indiana is 5-1 in mid-week contests, including a 4-0 mark on Tuesdays.

••• Since 2013, the Hoosiers are 23-5 in mid-week tilts (10-2 on Tuesday; 12-4 on Wednesday; 1-0 on Thursday). IU's 23-5 mark in such contests includes records of 14-2 at home, 6-3 on the road and 3-0 in neutral site games.

••• Indiana is outscoring opponents, 36-16, in mid-week games, when two of IU's four shutouts in 2015 have taken place.

AT BART KAUFMAN FIELD
••• The Hoosiers are 49-11 (.817) at Bart Kaufman Field since the facility opened in 2013, including an 11-3 mark this season, Indiana won its first seven games to match its best start at the ballpark, also winning its first seven in 2013.

••• Indiana is 21-3 vs. non-conference foes all-time at Bart Kaufman Field, including a 7-1 mark this season.

SCOUTING INDIANA STATE
••• Indiana is 57-42-1 in 100 all-time meetings with Indiana State, winning five of the last seven in a series that dates back to 1897.

••• The two schools will meet for the 11th consecutive season and have played each other 26 of the last 27 seasons (2003 the lone exception).

••• ISU is 14-19 overall and has lost five of its last six.

A LOOK AT THE HOOSIERS
••• Indiana is 21-11 and 5-6 in the Big Ten after a weekend sweep vs. Rutgers to finish a seven-game homestand. IU will play its first road game Tuesday since March 31, an 11-7 win at Kentucky.

••• IU has limited its error total to one or less 22 times this season, including 10 straight contests.

••• Indiana has recorded 10 or more hits on 18 occasions and has struck out 10+ batters 11 times.

••• Scott Donley leads IU with a .339 batting average, Craig Dedelow has team bests of 43 hits and 66 total bases and Casey Rodrigue and Logan Sowers each share the team lead with 22 runs batted in.

••• Luke Harrison leads the Hoosiers on the mound with a 0.98 ERA, four wins (4-0) and 34 strikeouts.

••• Three of the 10 most experienced pitchers in Indiana history are currently on the roster, including two of the top four. Ryan Halstead's 93 career appearances are first while Luke Harrison is third with 78. Scott Effross has played in 68 games, which is tied for seventh.
