I saw that Parker left South Carolina and stayed in the SEC by joining Chris Lemonis at Mississippi State as their pitching coach. I haven't seen how he did at South Carolina, but he is expected to turn around MSU's pitching staff which was last in the SEC with a team ERA of 7.01 and they issued the most walks in the conference with 321 walks. MSU finished 9-21 in conference play last season, and that matched their conference record from the previous season. They don't have much patience in the SEC, so Lemonis is probably on thin ice going into next season even though he won a College World Series title for them earlier.

I also saw that the Bulldogs brought in Purdue transfer Khal Stephen and he is expected to be part of their weekend rotation.
