I'm interested to know contract details - CCC salary and the salary pool for assistants. Hope IU gave CCC what he needed to get the guys he wanted.

Have the coaching staff numbers increased? Just searched and everything suggests it's still head coach and ten assistants...

Coordinators are on there twice. once for their coordinator position and once for their position coach duties. Edited now to combine them

Mostly moved his JMU staff over to us.
I wonder what his connection was to the other guys? I assume they coached together at some point or one of his prior contacts gave a great endorsement.

I think some of the titles are a little “dreamed up” or superfluous. The positions are used to help young coaches get a start in the business.
The vast majority of the folks with the title "analyst" are experienced coaches. The beginners are typically grad assistants or operations staff ( logistics, travel, prepping meeting materials or film, etc). In today's game, many of the analysts are guys like Rod Carey who are getting paid from a previous position. Much of their job is about serving as a second set of fresh eyes, working mostly with the HC or the coordinators to provide additional insight.
